Exceptionally refurbished fisherman’s cabin with sea views

Traditional Lofoten fishermen’s cabin fully renovated with high quality wood interior. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom are both well equipped and very nice. Sea views from the cabin. Owners Marcel and his spouse are very welcoming and eager to share info on the best in the area. Marcel even took us out on his boat to see Orcas! Their smoked salmon on sale in their shop next door is to die for. Village is at the “end of world”. Quaint and quiet little fisherman’s village that is a real open air museum and none of the crowds of the rest of Lofoten’s popular destinations.

Pessimo soggiorno con spregevole gestione

Nulla. Il gestore è insopportabile, all’arrivo ha tenuto a sottolineare le cose da NON fare senza essere d’aiuto con nulla. Erano le 21:30, ci ha detto che tutto era chiuso solo per non farci andare a cena nella eccellente struttura concorrente, aperta fino alle 22:00. Abbiamo lasciato la struttura due giorni prima del previsto, regalando 800 eur, ed il proprietario non si è degnato di chiedere quale fosse il problema

Non so se in Norvegia è legale, ma due delle ‘camere’, fra cui la ‘matrimoniale’ sono in sottotetti di scarso un metro massimo di altezza - e venti centimetri nel punto più basso. In una delle ‘camere’ non ci sono finestre, quindi si dorme in una bara senza aria. Nell’altra c’è un abbaino del tutto inadatto a far ventilare. La camera da letto che potrebbe essere idonea porta un letto a castello, per cui una coppia è costretta a dormire separata. Anche in questa camera manca l’aria condizionata. Il bungalow non dà sul mare ma sul molo del paese, quindi se non si tengono le persiane sempre abbassate non esiste privacy. Per lo stesso motivo, a meno di non voler ospitare estranei, non si può usare la terrazza. I letti sono pieni di acari, sporchi e mal ridotti. La cucina è sprovvista di tutto, all’arrivo non c’era nemmeno la carta da cucina. In somma una struttura carissima ed inusabile, un vero inferno in cui sentirsi un vero idiota spennato
