Situated in a small village with 3 pubs and ice cream parlour and great views. Our room was clean and comfortable with views of baby cows and hares. The tearoom include a full English breakfast.

Friendliness of hosts. Central for parking which was free courtesy of The Cottage Tea Room. Beautiful vista from bedroom. Room had a four poster bed and en-suite. Breakfast was excellent.
Only point of issue was the shower. Could do with an upgrade.

Lovely warm welcome, beautiful decor and delicious breakfast. The views were stunning and the village charming, with swallows, house martins, owls, rabbits, hares and more to see and hear. The hosts were lovely and friendly, the hospitality tray was well-stocked, and there was a small selection of DVDs available to borrow.
It was a little pricey, but our other accommodation was cancelled at the last minute so we had to take what was available. If we'd had a choice, we wouldn't have stayed there, but I'm glad we did.
The back room must be above the Aga, as it seemed very warm at night, but having windows front and back helped to get a breeze through. It will be very cosy in winter.

The main positives were that the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was freshly made and very nice, fresh fruit salad was provided.
The bed was comfortable.
Free parking just across the road and easy access to nearby towns.
Several nearby inns to eat at in the evening.
The entrance hall was awful and created a poor impression.
Various fitments in the bathroom were broken or coming off the walls.
There was little spare room in the bedroom for suitcases.
Surfaces were sticky.
