The Sigiri Roar

We had a wonderful four-night stay at this homestay in Sigiriya. The owners, Oulu, Ashen, and Hansi, were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spotlessly clean, incredibly quiet, and very peaceful, allowing us to relax completely after each day of exploring. The location was also excellent—beautiful, tranquil, and conveniently close to the main attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Sigiriya. We will certainly come back on our next trip!

Nothing… everything was so good

It was one of the best homestays in Sri Lanka. Really nice family, the owner is helping you with everything: arrangend a Safari whenever we wanted, we had a nice Kajaktour on the lake as well. I arrived a bit late and he drove me to a really good Restaurant as he didn‘t wanted me to walk alone in the dark. Very clean and the breakfast was also very delicious! Will come back for sure.

The pool is amazing. Family member offesr tuk tuk service very handy, (a little more expensice than pickme though)

Ac didnt work, too hot for me and uncomfortable sleep ( 2 nights) asked the owner for help 2nd day but our system dodnt seem to work efficently. Owner overheard me speaking about my safari experiicence and it's budget cost with other tourists at breakfast. He suggested his tour contact was better option. He suggested my driver optiion smuggles illeagal sustances and he would arrange a driver that was safe. I used my driver conract for 3 other journeys and had no issues. I believe he wanted me to use his tours and driver contacts instead poasibly
