Sigiri Bliss Garden Home Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sogiri bliss homestay. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view of Sigiriya Rock was breathtaking, especially at sunset. The location made it easy to explore the rock and surrounding sites, and the food was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Cultural Triangle — we’d love to come back!

HIGHTLY RECOMENDED! I have loved to stay in this accomodation. I made the reservation for 3 days and ended up staying for 12! The room has a good size and it is very clean! Room has perfect tools for a great stay: wardrobe with hangers, hangers also outside, shelves in the bathroon and ketle with coffee and tea options. Bathroom is big and comfortable also. Expect sleeeping SOOO WELL due to silence and darkness at night in the middle of nature. It is a homestay family, which means you will have the opportunity to get involved with real people and real daily life of Cingalese people. The family is amazing! Don´t waste the chance of trying Priantha´s food in the accomodation. It is delicious and she cooks in a very traditional way. My very sensitive stomach appreciated a delicious, natural and full of taste food. She prepares the coconut oil by herself and food gets delicious and healthy. Her husband takes care of the reservations and also very attentive, responsive and gives good recomendations. The place is situated in the same street of a budhist temple, from which you can see perfectly the magnitude of the Lion´s Rock. 10 minutes away by walking you can find a beautiful lake to swim, meditate or just contemplate nature. Also 5 minutes more and you meet another family with a coconut point and a nice swing in front of the Lion´s Rock and where you can also practice sports in the middle of the beautiful plantations.

Really great stay, exceptional value for money with the free breakfast, warm shower and comfy bed. The owner is the loveliest, answered all our questions, provided medicine without even asking, helped book our tours with no hassle.

Quite buggy but that is to be expected in the area so not really a problem.
