Good cheap apartment for seeing Copenhagen

Really convenient for seeing Copenhagen and had everything we needed. Instructions were clear and was worth the price. Facilities promised were delivered.

Had quite a distinctive odour especially in the kitchen and kitchen utensils were basic. Could have done with a washing machine also.

We read the reviews and had extremely low expectations, but they were exceeded once we arrived. I cannot speak on the behalf of the other apartments, but ours was very up to standard. +Very good location from the centre +Very good price +Amazingly quick communication from staff +Convenient shops in close distance Overall I would seriously recommend this place to stay, especially if you're wanting to save some extra money. For the price, I simply cannot fault it; perfect for young people on a budget.

-I would not recommend this for a family with children under the age of 10. The stairs were a safety hazard, as they were quite rickity. -Wifi was quite slow -Certain areas could be a little cleaner (sink drain/bathroom drain)

Lovel Peaceful abode.

The location was quiet and peaceful. Rooms were spacious. Lots of greenry and flowers all around. The place is nicely connected to the city. Two big super markets Lidl and Netto

The property did not provide for the access code to the rooms etc till we shared our photo ID etc and the communication for this requirement was sent by the property when we were already on the trip and had limited network connectivity. The properrty sent us a video for checkin which, thanks to the airport wifi, we could access else that would have provided extra challange. There was foul smell in the Ground Floor Toilet. The Ground Floor Toilet does not have bathing facility and should have been clearly stated in the information provided while booking.

Well-situated and dirty

The neighbourhood was super, the sitting room is cosy.

The rooms are small and there is only one bathroom with shower for the eight people. The other 'bathroom' is just a toilet.

The location was good. The configuration of all the rooms was good, and the beds were comfortable as well.

The house has a very strong smell of smoke. As soon as anyone enters the house it's noticeable. It smelled like the long time smokers lived in the house for decades or more. Each walls and furnitures were soaked in the smoke. Because of this many of us are now sick, have sore throat and headache. The kitchen wasn't as clean as we expected. There were dust coming out of microwave when we used, which fell all in our food. The fridge was smelly as well Despite all the good things, I wouldn't recommend anyone who doesn't like smoking to stay in the house. The house can make you sick due to very strong smoke odour. They need to re-paint the house and change all the furnitures, carpet and all. Because of this the money we paid isn't worth for the apartment. If this problem is solved. It's a nice stay.

Heating turned off last night in the apartment & the heating was not on when we arrived.

The biggest downside of this place is that they turned off the heating at 19 - 23 the last night there, so we could not take a shower and had to sleep in a freezing cold apartment. (it was 0 to -3 degrees while in copenhagen) Cold apartment, the heating was not on when we arrived. The stairs are not securely fastened, it is just a matter of time until an accident happens there. Superficial fixtures at a lot of places, that easily budges/comes off. Water damages at several locations. Faucet not properly installed in the bathroom. - guests with children, elderly or people with movement disabilities - stay away from this location in particular.

Appartment needs some attention.

Location close to public transport. Grocery stores around the corner.

When walking into the appartment the baby instantly had 2 hands full of long black hair from the floor. Mold in bathroom... like the other reviews (I only fully read after arriving at the appartment) - the cleaning crew needs some help from a home improvement technician! We went to store to buy cleaning products ourselves. Invest to save this property from doom... Removing smoke detectors from the ceiling is not the way to solve that problem. Electrical power is iffy at best (broken extension cord / no wall power on some).

Get it ONLY if you MUST save money, as it is BARELY suitable for adults but NOT for children/elderly

Price. Copenhagen is expensive, this apartment can accommodate a full family, BUT it is dangerous for elderly and children. The location is not too far from Stockholm, about a 20 minutes drive.

Rundown apartment with dangerous stairs "repaired" using duck tape and a baby fence, completely substandard and illegal. The apartment was dirty; whoever "cleaned" just quickly passed a broom. The windows were old and not easily to open/close, some doors didn't lock. The neighborhood almost looked like a ghetto, it reminded me of bad areas in American cities. The last day we didn't have WIFI, the owner had a whole day to react but didn't, and left us without the service. The apartment needs URGENT renovations, it is not in proper/standard conditions. The owner doesn't understand what is customer service nor providing decent/clean accommodations. Note: The owner and Booking.com just "offered" us to cancel the reservation, but didn't take into consideration the time and inconvenience of finding another place in a short time, so we decided to suck it up.

Disappointing

The place has good connection to the city centre. Beds are good and all in all the space is suitable for a family.

Many things in the house are completely worn out, it is not that clean - if you are a bit of a clean-freak, don't look at the corners, there was a dirty dish left in the oven... I was also surprised that bathing towels are provided but not a hand/face towel.

Good place to visit the Kopenhagen area

It is easy to find. The parking is behind the house. A supermarket is in a 5 mins walk distance. The kittchen is good equipped. The two rooms have a convenient size. The nearest bus/ Metro station is in 10 mins walking distance. With a Kopenhagen pass you do not need the car to go around. ( even to Roskilde and Frederiksborg )

The view out of the windoes of the sitting room goes to the terrasse of the neighbors. There and in the backyard it lacks a little bit of order for the time being.

overall very good. Easy to get to. Easy to get to an from central Copenhagen with bus. Good parking spot on location. Very much worth the price!

The stairs to the 2nd floor didn’t feel entirely safe at all times but it did work. Also perhaps a little short on cutlery (plates, forks, spoons etc.)

My worst experience of using a booking website - photos completely inaccurate and misleading

Location was good for our plans , though may be a little too far out of the centre of Copenhagen for many travellers.

Extremely dated, didn't correspond to photographs on website. Not particularly clean and very fusty (appears to be due to having painted directly over mould)

Basic value 'no frills' place to stay.

This is a good value basic apartment with no frills. Beds were comfy and we had plenty of space with 2 seperate bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Location is good on outskirts of centre with plenty of public transport options. Supermarkets and fast food available in locality. There is a pub (we didnt go there). We used the local launderette to dry clothes.

The apartment wasn't as clean as I would expect but it wasn't filthy. It is a little dated and could use some TLC.The window in the double bedroom is broken and drafty. The apartment could be great with a bit of a facelift and some useful additions like a washing machine, a plug for the bath, coat hooks in hall and a guest info book.
