Magical view in Blonay

The view was spectacular! Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great! Our hostess was also very nice and helpful.

The drive/road/parking is not conducive for larger vehicles.

We had to pay for 3 x 0,33l bottles beer and for washing clothes (+ 30 €). Also, we booked a room for 3 persons, but only a double bed was available. So we took an extra room ( + 40 €).

Did Not Meet Our Expectations

The host was friendly. The view was nice but the weather was not good enough for us to enjoy it.

After enticed by other reviews, we certainly had high expectations. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The accommodation, especially the bathroom, was not ideal. It was too hot for us to sleep. The breakfast was just ok. The road going up was quite winding and jammed with construction vans when we were there.

Wonderful hosts in beautiful spot near Montreux

Our hosts were wonderful. They were extremely friendly and gave us plenty of tips on what to do in the region. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of home made jams and options. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the kids had another room to themselves. Everything was super clean. The view from the property is incredible and really worth it! There was a ping pong table. It was too early for the swimming pool though!

We loved everything! Nothing to say here really! If we come back in this area of Switzerland, we will stay here again!

The gorgeous view means it’s on a steep hill that makes walking a challenge. (It’s CHF20 for a cab ride to the nearest market). Also, if you plan to cook, it’s important to review details regarding kitchen availability (additional charge).

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans ce lieu d’exception. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par la vue spectaculaire – un véritable tableau vivant, à couper le souffle, que l’on ne se lasse pas d’admirer à toute heure de la journée. Le cadre est d’un calme rare, propice au repos et à la déconnexion. On ressent immédiatement une atmosphère paisible et apaisante, idéale pour se ressourcer. La piscine est un véritable atout : parfaitement entretenue, avec une taille idéale pour que petits et grands puissent en profiter pleinement. Un vrai bonheur sous le soleil ! Le petit déjeuner est un autre point fort du séjour : copieux, varié, avec des produits frais et savoureux qui donnent le ton pour bien commencer la journée. Et que dire de Marina ? Une hôte attentive, chaleureuse et toujours disponible, avec de précieux conseils pour découvrir la région. Sa gentillesse et son accueil ont largement contribué à rendre notre expérience inoubliable. En résumé : tout était réuni pour un séjour parfait. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs plein la tête et le cœur léger. Nous recommandons ce lieu les yeux fermés et espérons sincèrement y revenir très bientôt !"

Sehr ruhige und wunderschöne Lage!

Magie Du Léman liegt an einem Berghang in einem sehr ruhigen Ortsteil von Blonay. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden, allerdings erfordert die schmale und steile Anfahrt zum Haus etwas Fahrkönnen. Dafür wird man dann mit einer phänomenalen Aussicht von der Terrasse mit Pool über den Genfer See mehr als entschädigt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, spricht fliessend Französisch, gut Deutsch und Englisch und wohn selbst über den vermieteten Zimmern.

Das Wetter hätte besser sein können. ;-)
