We stayed in a one bedroom apartment only for one nigh (couple with a 3yo child), but absolutely loved it! Our apartment was spacious, clean and cosy, nice garden view from the balcony. Perfect location right next to train station, easy to walk or take a tram to city center, Zoo etc. Even if it is right next to the train station, the street is very quiet and the area overall is nice. Enjoyed the option to have a private parking (extra 25chf for a day). Overall impression - modern and relaxed atmosphere in the hotel with plenty of the space in common areas to meet other people, have a drink, work etc. Our discovery and suggestion for other travelers close by this hotel - Markthalle in front of the train station - indoor food court where you can get food from various countries around the world until late at night.

Great value for money! Very comfortable beds and friendly staff, lively atmosphere and pleasant dining area. BaselCard was a great bonus.
Check-in was easy, but the communication explaining the rules was unnecessarily confusing and lengthy to my taste. Sharing of the code of the room could be more straightforward. I received so many messages with links that either wouldn’t open or it wouldn’t be clear where the link leads. I checked in online but didn’t receive the email with the details. I opened and closed the code on the website right after checking in, but later couldn’t find it anywhere. I also find that it’s too much to download an app just to check in. I freaked out a little bit as I didn’t know if there will be staff there, but it all ended well and we didn’t end up sleeping on the street. :)
Breakfast was quite basic and tables could be cleaner, but I guess it’s good enough for the price.

Nice hotel concept and staff. I got a different room from what I booked. The bed set up was different from what shows in the photos and description of room on booking.
