Odd sort of set up!!!. Checkin and code system a little off putting when arriving tired. But staff helped, friendly and I was guided to the adequate bike shed. Good breakfast £15. Very handy for basel train station centrale. I liked the pod dorm system.....
The dorms were incredibly hot in the pods, no airflow. Fortunately the hostel provided a fan but to gain any benefit required me to compromise my privacy negating the benefit of a pod system. The lower pods are not as good as the one above which gave a sliding door which can be adjusted. My pod had a single opening entrance door difficult to get in and out of.

The hostel is very near to the SBB central station ,also near to the Coop to buy something .,very helpful and friendly staff , very good concept .
The Bed was not comfortable . At night was very loud in the hallway.
