Beaune City Suite

Location - just inside the city walls to easy to drive in and we found street parking straight away on a Saturday afternoon. No parking fees on Sunday. Neighbourhood area with great options for eating. Host - Francois communicated with us answering questions about parking before we arrived and was there to meet us, show us the apartment and provide helpful local info. Facilities - spotless and tres chic. Lovely garden to look out over and good air flow possible by opening front and back windows. Whilst not air-conditioned, we had fans and coped well in very high heat. Very well equiped with fridge, microwave and cooktop.

This apartment is in an excellent location within the center of the old town and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, wine tasting and the historical sites of interest in the city center. I have stayed in these type of apartment bookings before and really like this style of accomodation, but this particular apartment was so extremely well provisioned for either a short or longer term stay that it really stands out. Nice bedroom with updated bathroom and a large living room/kitchenette area. Nespresso machine, microwave, refrigerators, fully stocked with glassware and cutlery. The bedroom had a great closet, sufficient hangers, ironing board, shopping bags, etc. The apartment was very clean and tidy for our arrival. The host; François was friendly, easy to communicate with and so helpful over the course of our stay. He has an excellent knowledge of French History and interesting recommendation of things to see and do in Beaune and France in general.

Really warm welcome from Francois- the host, who kindly collected and returned us-from/to the train station. Apartment in a fantastic position, elegantly furnished and very well equipped. Spotless. Very comfy bed and pillows. Lots of little extras that made us feel very spoilt. Francois is an exceptional host- thank you for your kindness.
