For one night, yes, but not for longer than that. It's inconvenient that there is no lift, so you have to carry ever

I liked the safety of the accommodation

There were no suitable conditions, no kettle, no basic amenities, the rubbish bin was small, and I had booked a completely different room. The beds were like those in the army or in prison. We were exhausted and didn't want to argue or complain.

I had a nice stay, although The people weren’t very socialable and did a lot of meeting other people while out.

How close it was to grand place.

Beds were loud and found it hard to enter good REM sleep due to other people moving and making bed squeak

Be aware of a very steep and long staircase if you’re coming with a suitcase. Also, the room was burning hot as there was no air conditioning or a fan

it’s really good that it’s close to the train station but outside of the hostel is a resturant full of people every night that are really noisy. Of curse it’s not the hostel foult but it’s also a bit of a unsafe area. Not anything crazy but we did hear a guy getting robed in the middle of the night. But it’s not really unsafe but felt a bit off and that supported our suspicion.

Too hott- no fans in a room of 8 people

10 minutes from main downtown

* there was no AC or fan in a room with 8 people . The outside was SO NOISY for the entire night into the morning . So either the window was open - with extremely loud noise all night and streetlights into the room with barely any ventilation. Or most nights people would close the windows and it was so hott you wake up completely soaked wet in sweat. I am not exaggerating that I got 2 hours of sleep in the few days I was there. * The area around it is not nice , tons of construction everywhere , kind of depressing .

Expensive for what it was, but fine.

Bed was very comfortable, and room fairly clean.

In a fairly dodgy location, didn’t feel the safest. Our room was right off the main stairway so was very noisy when other people came in. There was also a fire escape right next to the bed and the door didn’t seem to lock easily so we felt a little uneasy.

Good for the price

The bathroom was very clean, the beds were as comfortable as the price would indicate and very clean

The bathroom has no ventilation which means hot showers get really steamy and there aren’t curtains to draw across the bed so privacy is a little lacking

The price is okay, one of the cheapest but it's due to what they are offering The staff was nice

I didn't like my stay The room was okay but the beds don't have curtains and it's strange if you are sleeping with other people (most of them were man the second night) you don't have privacy and you can see the light from the window The WiFi didn't work The shower and bathroom were good and cleaned As a woman I wasn't feeling safe in the street to go to the hostel It's the Arabic Street The people you find in your stay makes the difference because some are disrespectful they don't care about others... they keep their telephone volume high and speak loud (at 23.30 that's not nice)

It was overall a good experience, but need to work on services that I mentioned.

We liked the hospitality of the first guy when we entered, we really don't know his name but he was so good and humble to us. We met him at around 6:30 pm on 10/04/2025. We also liked the tea and space facility provided. What made us feel equally good was 2€ towel service, it was really good.

We didn't like the fact that despite reminding them 3 times we didn't receive an air freshener which is really bad. The room was stinking. You can work on that.

Location: near lemonier station and Brussels midi, near the rides, walking distance to the main sights, many bakeries and coffee shops, many little supermarkets

No elevator and we are on the 4th floor, the stairs are old and small.

The reception is open 24h and the receptionist were all very nice and welcoming. The location is also very convenient.

The room was smelling a bit weird and it was smaller than expected, but overall it was okay.

wouldn't stay again

the quality of the room was subpar, there was a hole in the shower which concerned us, there's also no lift and we were on the top floor which was a pain to get to. the receptions and the rooms are in separate buildings making it difficult to reach the facilities

Bed was too small and narrow, also gap between the upper bed and lower bed was too low that your head would sprike again and again.

It wasnt located too far from the train station, the staff was amazing. Great value for money

There was no elevator and the stairs were not in great condition. I had to walk 4 floors up. The area is VERY noisy and even with earplugs it was hard for me to sleep. The rooms were not in the greatest condition.

Exceptional

the staff is so helpful, is a good price and is close to the center, a couple of block from it. is pretty safe to walk at night specially for girls. you can found a bunch of Halal restaurants around the place.

Good base for a stay in Brussels

There were some unnerving reviews on google and so I was a bit apprehensive before my stay here. But I really enjoyed my stay, there are good sized lockers under the beds, a good bathroom in the room, the bed was comfortable and had charging points, my dorm mates were good. The staff were welcoming and helpful and I was able to leave luggage before check in and after check out. I felt safe and had a good nights sleep. Nice walk into central Brussels and was perfect for my stay.

Didn't bother me but the stairs to the room are quite steep so if you have any mobility issues that may be a consideration.

I missed having a hook in the toilet for holding the towel. The glass part from the shower could be a bit larger so it would not easily wet the rest of the toilet when taking a shower.

Location was fine and longer checkin hours

Lots of stairs, washroom wasn’t clean, too hot no air conditioning, no blackout curtains. Shouldn’t have this many problems considering the amount of rent per night

too small room, specially bathroom. the toilet is almost under the sink. the shower space has a very narrow opening which is not possible to pass without touching the walls! Low water pressure and the sink would clog all the time!!

Bad

the room was very smelly, and all night we havent slept because of the soud of water droping. we couldt see where because the light was poor and the walls were dark grey. the bathroom door was open below and all the smell came in the room. there was no windows, it felt like a hole inder the ground
