Beautiful lounge area and spacious bedrooms.
Didn't have breakfast as it was expensive. They didn't top up tea/coffee in room which would have been nice.

Comfy bed.
Rundown surrounding area.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, very good facilities and superb breakfast
Our bathroom was fabulous except for a foul smell that seemed to come from the shower. We mentioned it at checkout and I'm sure it will get sorted. Also loud humming sound in the room (AC unit?) took some getting used to!

Central location near Brussels Midi, friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, good shower.
Area around hotel is a bit edgy, won’t suit everyone. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Some classic hotel irritations in the room itself. Plug in bathroom didn’t work (as it doesn’t in at least 50% of hotels), TV remote didn’t work, TV screen wouldn’t switch off unless it was physically unplugged.

Brilliant staff, friendly and super helpful, and great room. The terrace must be great in summer. Location close to Gare du Midi is great, and although the neighbour may be perceived as fairly rough, it is lovely once inside the hotel.

Absolutely nothing. This place couldn’t even provide hot water, which is the bare minimum anyone should expect from a hotel. The rooms were made as if like 2 minutes before the checkin time which was totally evident
The list is endless: no hot water for a shower, guests being shuffled around like luggage just to access basic services, a front desk staff member who refused to give his name and acted with complete rudeness, and a manager who was invisible the entire time. This property has no respect for its guests and should be avoided at all costs. I am demanding a refund because they completely failed to deliver even the basics.

Clean and tidy,
The location was a little out of the way of the center out a 15min walk and the area that it was in was a bit run down compared to other areas are of the city
3.0 / 10.0
Good part was that we could leave our luggage while exploring the city. Perhaps the hotel has more positive aspects, but we were unable to appreciate them due to our disappointing experience.
Please read before choosing this hotel. First of all, we were given a room in the basement, which was said to be quiet and spacious with a view of the garden. In reality, we could see only part of the garden, and it was extremely noisy at night (till 12 am), even though the windows were shut. It did not feel good to live in a basement. The Wi-Fi connection did not work. The towels had a strong smell of chlorine, there was no kettle to make tea, and no proper space to store clothes. The rooms was located to “staff only” room and from the morning cleaning staff was noisy. There is no noise isolation at all. The station and city centre are nearby, but to get there you have to walk through unpleasant areas, which creates a wrong impression of Brussels overall. Fortunately, we stayed only one night, as we would not have chosen to remain longer.

Lovely hotel inside, nice interiors, room was a decent size & clean.
The area around the hotel isn’t great. We also had a fun fair across the street during our stay which wasn’t the hotels fault, but was a bit noisy. Saying that, it didn’t stop us sleeping. But we didn’t particularly enjoy walking through the area to get to the main part of the city.

Great hotel , very well maintained and good decor , lovely vibe & friendly staff - breakfast quite expensive for what was on offer and also cold , could do with even having a microwave to warm up the cooked items slightly .
There was no water for full 12 hours and no electricity for couple of hours during our stay . Staff apologised but no offer of compensation or reimbursement for services not fully available

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly.
The room was nicely decorated and comfortable.
The location was convenient, its easy to get to the station, and the centre is an easy walk or a quick metro journey away.
We were on the 6th floor and had repeated issues with the water pressure, leaving us only able to shower in freezing cold water on both nights we stayed. Staff confirmed the water pressure on the top floors is a problem they often have.
As other people have mentioned, the area isn't the nicest.

Good location.
Comfortable Bed.
Very nice room with good facilities.
Friendly & helpful staff.
Adjacent room noise could be heard quite easily.

Cleanness, close proximity to the station. Room was comfy.
Hot water in the shower wasn't available during first night. (most likely it was due to us being on the top floor). The shower is bit slippery and starts flooding after 3-4 minutes of shower. Rest no complaints.

Bedroom and bathroom
Breakfast was not great, app in the room said 16 euros but we were charged 18 euros, had to wait on cutlery and mugs as staff washed up in side room. Breakfast ingredients not of great quality for the cost. We paid for an upgraded room, there was a coffee machine but pods only provided on day 1, had to pay on the other days. Supposedly environment friendly but fresh towels were provided every day, even though we didn’t put the old towels out for changing.

Location is good
After no of request receptionist gave us basement room. Going to room was like solving puzzle. Apart no ventilation and suffocating in the basement area.

The staff were the most kind, informative and accomodating hotel staff I have ever come across, they let me and my friend keep our bags at the hotel past check out time for free as our flight was later on in the evening, and we were still able to enjoy the patio and seating area. As for the room, it was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and had a lovely mirror and spacious sink and shower.
The only issue we came across was that water was dripping from the ceiling above the shower, and a piece fell down during the night, as well as light flickering in the bedroom.

Other reviews have criticised the location. We found it really convenient for Brussels Midi, especially the Eurostar terminal. We did not feel uncomfortable walking around the area and it's a short walk to the Grand Place.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed.
In particular, the breakfast was of a really high standard.
We would definitely consider staying here again.
There was a lot of construction work nearby but this did not impact the stay in the hotel at all.

Very stylish hotel, smiling staff and very comfortable room.
There are works in Gare du Midi and the way is confusing

Nice clean comfortable room and helpful staff
The area it’s located in is poor and scruffy. The room was a bit chilly and there was a lot of early morning noise from cleaners in the courtyard which was outside our window. Also constant noise from other guests using the courtyard. They charge 1 euro per day to top up tea, coffee etc which seems petty. Just add it to the cost of the room and it would feel more welcoming.

It was close to the centre of Brussels and to the bus station/train station. Only a walk away.
It was clean.
We had to pay extra for more coffee in the room. It didn’t get replenished with a room clean. However it was only a small amount. There were people hanging outside the property. We were all adults but I couldn’t imagine young families.
The triple room was a double bed and sofa, it was ideal for us but just handy to know.

They really went all out for something so simple it was truly an honour just the way they treated us!
Cant complain about a thing

The breakfast was very good.
The communal areas were very pleasant.
Both bedroom and bathroom worked well.
The location was close to Midi train station and not far from the old city centre.
Places to eat nearby.
The administration with booking and payment was absolutely awful!
We entered several valid cards (used successfully to book other aspects of holiday successfully) but Urban Yard couldn't process them.
We then paid through bank transfer. On our journey to Brussels, we had a message that we hadn't paid.
When we arrived, it was agreed that we had paid, including breakfast.
But we were not on the breakfast list the next morning, so had to go reception to sort it out (again)!
Really annoying and really poor service

Modern, clean .
Area was a bit run down. Not particularly nice to walk around especially at night. Also no USB sockets in the room. Unusual for a modern hotel. Close to Eurostar and Metro station which was good.

Close to the train station and easy walk to central Brussels. Room was clean.
Room (102) was on the first floor and in a tight corner of the building with no view and quite warm as the a/c wasn’t working.

Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel was unpleasant. The room was untidy, like the towels were used, the cups weren’t clean, complimentary sweets and tea make used. When we informed the staff about this, they offered to change the room in two days or inform us of another solution later. We didn’t receive any solution and I should retell this “story” 3-4 times, because the staff kept changing. They haven’t even apologize. Moreover, the room was called upgraded but it was in -1 floor next to the staff. Also, we had a terrace in the room but we couldn’t access it because it was closed and as they say for security reasons.

The hotel is well designed, with a spacious room and nice quality products like shampoo, cream, and conditioner – it made the stay perfect. It’s located near Gare du Midi, which isn’t the nicest neighborhood, but it was okay since we were close to the city center thanks to tram 4. The breakfast was good and tasty. As for the staff, some were friendly and some less so, but overall the experience was positive – they even extended our stay by a day, which made us super happy!
We stayed from Thursday until Sunday. No deep cleaning was done during our stay. Even on Saturday, the sheets weren’t changed and the bed was barely made. We had almost no conditioner left and didn’t receive any new toiletries. The hotel mentions that after three days, cleaning or a change of sheets should be done, but that didn’t happen. Still, it’s okay…

Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms are comfortable and stylish. Solution with the bathroom on the lower level makes the room even more interesting. Breakfast is good, not too big choice but all what is on the table is delicious. Staff is polite and helpful. Bed is comfortable. The area is not the safest one but the centre of the city (town hall square) is quite close, maybe 15-20 minutes walking.
This area is quite noisy, even during the nighttime. This is something, what must be taken into account when booking the hotel. Area might be a bit dangerous, especially in the night. Although it is seen that the hotel does its best to make accommodation as safe as possible, there must be cautious. Safest is to prefer taxi for moving.

Room was big, comfortable, super clean and very quiet! Getting in and out by public transport was very easy.
Neighbourhood isn't the best and we were told to be aware of pickpocketing, but close to public transport and easy access to city centre

Near the station, which was handy as I travelled on Eurostar and was going on to Antwerp, this hotel ticks all the boxes for a convenient overnight stay. Friendly welcome, QR codes a plenty, strong wi-fi, quiet room and a treat sweet on your bed, which was, by the way, super comfy and I had a great night's sleep.
Nothing to complain about. It's not in the prettiest part of Brussels, but that's OK.

it is a very friendly and beautifully decorated hotel with comfortable rooms close to Eurostar terminal.
the hotel is fabulous but the area in which it is located is rather depressed - hopefully this will change
