Perfect for a city trip

The host was very kind and helpful. We were allowed to check in a bit earlier, and he even made coffee for us. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is centrally located, perfect for a city trip.

Pleasant stay in Utrecht

The host was extremely friendly and polite. He was really helpful. He was there to receive me and he made sure that I was fine with the place. The place has a ton of amenities, hot water, coffee, tea, washer and dryer.

Good enough for 1–2 nights without any luxury, but 85€ for a night is *way* too much.

Erdem let me in and was really nice and ready to help. The Wifi worked well, there is heating, the place is very central and around 12 minutes by foot from the main station. Towels, shampoo, tea bags are provided. The area is quiet, so there was no street noise. Reasonably clean.

It took me a while to find it, because nothing at all points to it being a B&B from the outside, look for a giant "28" on what looks like a private home. The shower and toilet are next to the corridor and the toilet room is super tiny with a tiny sink with no soap. Heating works quick, but is very loud and quickly became so hot that you could smell hot metal and burned dust. Had to turn it off again for the night. The walls are thin and you hear everything from the corridor. The bed is warm, but very small (90 cm or less) and the mattress seems old and way too soft (I sank in).

A lovely place to stay, close to everything but in a peaceful area.

I was met by my host, who was lovely and immediately put the kettle on for me while I was shown my room. The single room I booked was a good size with plenty of space to move about. As shown in the pictures it has a table chair, bed (obviously) side table with a lamp and plenty of sockets for recharging phones. There is extra bedding in the wardrobe and also plenty of coat hangers. The bed was very comfortable. There are seperate shower and toilet rooms and another room with both in the same room. these are mid way down the corridor on the ground floor opposite the rooms but not far from any one room. There is a open plan kitchen in the corridor complete with sink, fridge, mictowave, coffee maker and about 10 different teas, along with lemon, ginger, mint-you get the idea, It's very thoughtfully put together. The whole building was very clean and obviously cared for. The guest house was situated within an easy 10 minute walk of Centraal Station and a slightly shorter walk to the Tivoli Vredenburg. There is a grocery store very close and lots of really good resteraunts and cafes too. Although you are not in the old city, it's a very short walk to get to it. I will happily book here again next time I visit Utrecht.

There wasn't anything I disliked about Hello Stay. I think it's fair to mention that, as my room was opposite the kitchen area, I was sometimes woken (briefly) by other people using the facilities. but even mentioning this seems ultra-picky.

Wonderful B&B with excellent location and super friendly owner~

An excellent stay overall, wonderful location right by downtown Utrecht. I went to see a show at Tivoli Vredenburg and many others who went to the same show also stayed at this B&B. The owner is extremely nice and helpful, and facilities are great. Beds are super comfy as well. Highly recommend for solo-travelers, couples, or groups of friends. Very affordable and a fantastic stay overall. Thank you!

Easy communications, very flexible. Good room for a good night of sleep. Multiple supermarkets within walking distance. (Shared) kitchen available with plates, cutlery, etc.

Great stay!

Cozy room with a very comfortable bed. There's a shared kitchen with everything you need, including a fridge, microwave and a washing machine. There's also free tea and coffee. The staff is very friendly as well. I could borrow a bike for free.

Nice comfortable stay

Nice clean room a 10 minute walk from the centre of Utrecht. Spotless. Free snacks + good selection of tea. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Flexible with checkout. On a quiet residential street.

There was no clear sign outside the door for the guesthouse and it looks like every other house on the street. Thankfully, somebody opened when I showed up, but there seemed to be some initial confusion about my reservation. This was cleared up quickly enough + I got a room.

Amazing place

The staff was incredible. It was easy to communicate with, they helped me with everything I asked for. They even gave me herbal tea, fruit and medicine when I told them I was sick. I felt at home. It's also great that it's a 10-minute walk from Utrecht train station. If I come to Utrecht from now on, I'll definitely choose this place.

Not what I expected but still a great place to stay

Location was great, near to the central station with supermarkets nearby and a street where you can find everything. A nice garden to relax (shared). Coffee and tea available and a fridge (shared). The room was nice and we slept comfortable in the bed. Everything was cleaned well.

Would be nice to have hand towels in the toilet, we did own hand towel in our room which we could bring along, but we usually forgot it. I was a bit shocked to learn that we had shared toilets and bathrooms, so I feel a bit misinformed, but my assumptions is also to blame, didn't look into it that well. In the end it wasn't any trouble at all. It was also bit awkward when it got dark too see the lightning on or off in the rooms, because the walls weren't completely sealed on the floor. Not a big problem, but awkward. The time changed to summertime more than a week ago, but the clock was still set to wintertime. There were numbers (simple black stickers) on the doors. Better looking font en colour numbers would make me feel just a bit better.

Cosy, clean, and comfortable

Hello B&B was clean, comfortable, quiet, and met my needs perfectly. The location is fantastic .. just a few minutes walk to the city centre. There are three large supermarkets nearby and a number of cafe and take-away food places. Hosts are friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, breakfast is no longer available at the property.

There was nothing that affected my stay. Just a couple of points that may be of use to others considering this accommodation: My room was a little smaller than the one pictured in the description. It didn't have any bedside table/nightstand or a mirror, but was still perfectly adequate. The room was also in a different part of the property to the kitchen, terrace, etc. These are available to use but not as readily accessible as some of the other rooms. There is however a fridge available on the landing, which was useful.

What an experience…

It’s centrally located but still quiet at the same time. The owner was friendly and helpful.

Arrived and had to wait 10 minutes until my room was ready - why you ask? Apparently they didn’t clean it when the previous guest left - so the owner went in and tidied up the room I guess. The bed sheet had black long hair on it which is… gross. I don’t wanna sleep in sheets where someone else slept in already and that haven’t been washed. Generally it was strange. I called 2 days earlier and wanted to book via phone but was told they’re booked out - but I saw available rooms here in booking.com. When I arrived there was only one other guest at the place - all other rooms were empty.

Home away from home

I strongly recommend this family-run B&B. The location is perfect: a short walk from the train station. The room are large and clean, the shared bathrooms extremely clean. You can enjoy a quiet internal garden when sunny. The best part: the owners are so welcoming and nice. We travelled with our toddler daughter and they would enjoy talking to her. The landlady prepares a delicious breakfast every morning: by delicious I mean that she personally looks after the details and changes every morning, mixing flavours and offer. One morning I even found watermelon for breakfast, which I love! the difference with a normal hotel is that you can see what it means to work with passion and innovation in your own business. Bravo.

Bathroom is shared (2 bathrooms for 3 rooms) and the floor gets all wet after a shower Breakfast (sliced bread, 1 pancake, vegetables, date fruits, cheese and jam) was served cold. There was no place to sit indoor, only outside in a messy garden

The host is very welcoming, everything was very clean, good location (close to central station and the canals), comfortable bed and cosy room. Breakfast was boiled eggs, some cheese, freshly baked pastry and yogurt and tea/coffee/jams. Very good value for money!

Bagno in comune. Sono comunque disponibili tre stanze bagno, due delle quali con doccia...e non ho mai trovato occupato. Letto un po' troppo soffice ma comunque confortevole
