Location is good with good transport links into Edinburgh central, staff were absolutely lovely.
Toilet stank the room out when we arrived. Not enough working plug sockets. Was expecting a bit more space for a family room.

The hotel was amazing. Extremely comforable beds, excellently located for getting into Edinburgh by public transport. The staff were fantastic especially the wonderful lady on reception.

Excellent breakfast. Plentiful and hot. Good choices.
Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower.
The only thing lacking was somewhere to put luggage. No table other than a very small dressing table and one small chair. We felt there was an empty space in the room where a table and more substantial chair should have been.

Easy access to town centre, lots of facilities, free car park, friendly staff, nice Christmas decoration , comfy beds
Rooms are very basic compared to the prices, definitely not 4 * cleaning needs to be improved, shower screen was dirty and black mould. Breakfast is very average, with a white scrambled egg, dry mushrooms, dry stone croissants , and dirty mugs. There is a Starbucks inside, but coffee is very watery.
