Es perfecto! Estás en plena selva negra, muy cerca de Friburgo.

We love this area and we have been at the restaurant something like 20 years ago. This is the first time we spent the night in this hotel. Great and spacious room with a view, perfect location for bicycles.

De locatie ten opzichte van de snelweg is ideaal. Het was voor ons een tussenstop op de terugweg van vakantie. Heel vriendlelijke mensen, lekker diner waarbij de kok zelf ook even langskwam om te vragen of het beviel.

Het was een enorm warme week geweest. Wij hadden het appartement onder het schuine dak. Dat was echt enorm warm. Dat was heel jammer, want verder was alles dik in orde. Dit was de 2e keer en de 1e keer was het niet zo warm en toen prima comfortabel. Het zou fijn zijn als ze ventilatoren zouden aanbieden bij dit soort temperaturen.

I booked two rooms for our family trip Our kids (1 and 5 years old, the usual type that plays and eats) seemed a bit too much for the hotel (I asked about their policy before): it was difficult to get an extra egg at the first day of breakfast (due to Corona buffet was closed and it seemed their intention was not to provide any breakfast at all for the two small kids staying in the room until I got upset over it). This was not a nice way to start the holidays and actually made it very uncomfortable to asking any other questions to the staff, even for an extra glass of water (the fact that they did not make any effort to speak English did not help either). Given the earlier good reviews (reason why I booked this hotel in the first place), my best guess is the above might be due to their (financial? as it seemed shower soap was economised on as well... of all things) stress related to Corona... If not, the fact that my wife and children are half Asian might have played a role - but I have not experienced this kind of 'cold' service for the longest time and we travel quite a lot...
