Ria is a great host, very welcoming and friendly. The property is well equipped and has parking. The location could not be better, it is a five minute walk to the Menin Gate.

Excellent location. The house is beautiful. The room itself is spacious, bed is comfortable and there is a big bathroom. A delicious fresh breakfast was served in a room with a fire. Ria and Lorenzo are very welcoming hosts who want to make sure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The location is excellent - we didn't have a car so needed to be able to walk into town. The room: apartment is very clean and roomy with a lovely big bathroom. Yea coffee and cold drinks available in the room. A brilliant breakfast cooked by the host and enjoyed in the dining room at their home - still private - Ria is lovely and very helpful- her husband offered to drive us to the train station and help with bags etc. if you want to explore Ypres and experience homely hospitality don't look past this place .

The breakfast is seperate to the booking, but was lovely. Fresh bread plus a croissant/cake, cereals, fruit, juice, ham, cheese, tea etc, was ample such that we only needed a small snack luchtimes. The parking in Ypres can be difficult, but there is an off road parking space by the property, and the property is maybe five minutes slow walk to the Menin Gate.
We would have preferred two easy chairs in the room rather than just the one, but this was not a problem and we were perfectly comfortable as it was.
