The incredible view...Great week with some friends, close to all amenities, advice using the road towards the cable car if your are heading into old town - steps can be tough - if you would struggle with this than there are loads of taxis for the short distance. Recommend the hike if the hike.

The apartment was amazing! It was comfortable and the perfect size for our group. The most amazing part was our host, Vesna! She was truly one of a kind. She met us when we got there and had arranged our transportation from the airport to the property. She answered all of our questions that we had immediately. We accidentally left a piece of clothing behind, and she took it to the post office and had it sent to us in Split. She also arranged a day out on a boat with her husband, Grga, and the day couldn’t have been any better. The view from the property is amazing!!!If you are going to Dubrovnik, you should totally stay at this property.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Wonderful location a few minutes walk to Ploce gate (quieter than Pile gate). Very easy to explore Dubrovnik and there were a few supermarkets and lovely restaurants nearby too. Apartment was quiet and peaceful with a fantastic terrace to sit on and look at the amazing views. Aircon worked well and there were two units - one in the living room and one in the main bedroom - however the portable aircons in two of the bedrooms were more than sufficient since the living room aircon cooled the whole apartment well. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms were huge. The apartment felt very spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped although we didn't use it for too much.

Important to note: You cannot bring a rental car into the area without prearranging a restricted zone permit. The day we left we had planned for one person to collect the rental car and fetch us (we were driving onto Split), but we all had to catch a taxi instead. Something to bear in mind, although I'd recommend not using a car at all. The wifi was very slow (could not stream TV), which might be an issue for some people.

We really enjoyed the terrace with it's amazing view over Dubrovnik. The apartment was lovely and clean and the beds really comfortable. We all agreed that the view and space was definitely worth the short walk up and down the steps to the old town. Vesna was a great host, replied to all questions promptly and organised our airport transfer. Highly recommend.
