The location- very close to the old town

I thought the location would have been a lot bigger and would not have been a small room, slightly misleading when booking the room

Close to the old city, and our studio apt had a lovely view over the water and city walls. Our host Ivana was wonderful. Even was quick to bring us a needle and thread when we struggled to find one anywhere in town!

We were there when it was HOT, and while the AC did work decently, it wasn’t a very powerful unit and took a while to cool the room (which gets hot with sun.) Also, the fridge wasn’t cold, and it smelled terrible. We didn’t mention it during our stay because we were ok not using it, but the smell was strong and we had to keep it closed (and we put out a couple bowls of ground coffee to mask the smell.) Bed was just ok. Not the worst I’ve slept on but not too comfy. To get there, you have to walk down about 75 steps from the road above, or up about 125 steps from the road below. This is pretty clear in the listing that there are stairs, but it was definitely more than we were prepared for. Be weary if you have heavy bags 😜

The view from our room was stunning! Overlooking the town walls and harbour. It was a very short walk (down stairs) to Banje Beach. We were kindly allowed to store our bags in the entrance before check-in and after checkout. The room has a very deep wardrobe, which was great for storing luggage.

Pillows weren't great, but that's down to personal preference.

Basic but clean. Was expecting a kitchen area and more space as photos
