    The positives: location is great - everything is four or five mins walk away. The building is beautiful. The negatives: no air con other than big units in the rooms but which actually spewed out hot air as vent not connected. Rooms 18 and 19 have no windows at eye level and small. Single beds pushed together in Room 18. The rudest reception staff - comically so. Poor quality restaurant (breakfast is ok but don't expect fresh orange juice). Failed to bring bags to gate as promised (not that I expected it given reception staff). Tiny old towels. Overall: three star hotel. Definitely not five star. Go elsewhere

    Checked into room that had no phone and AC thermostat that was taped shut. Brought up a phone and untaped thermostat supposedly to fix the extremely hot room. Came back later in evening to an even hotter room! Eventually “found” another room for us at almost midnight with a portable AC unit, apparently that rooms AC didn’t work either. Attempted to speak with a manager next morning, none on premises because it was Sunday. Spoke to a manager on the phone who assured me AC had been fixed days ago and really only problem was guests who wanted the rooms too cold! Our room was over 26c ! Offered a minimal and inconsequential credit which we have still not seen!
