Really lovely holiday home with wonderful highland views. The log burner was a real asset.
Great location, and only a 10 minute walk into town

Great cottage with wonderful view
Spacious cottage with everything we needed. Wonderful panoramic view, complete with deer, across countryside from conservatory room. 20 mins country walk into town.
Nothing not to like.

Comfortable house with a beautiful view that could take its game up a notch.
The main selling feature of this property is the beautiful view that can be found in the dining room that is incorporated into the kitchen. The view is indeed beautiful, but unfortunately a few other comforts and amenities appear to be forgotten as a result. The other thing we really appreciated about this property was the inclusion of a garage. As we were travelling with bicycles this was wonderful and a big reason we chose this property over others. The washing machine also worked well the times that we used it.
The house is comfortable, but as mentioned above some amenities and details seem to have been forgotten or left behind since the view in the kitchen takes centre stage. While most self catering accommodation have poor knives, the knives in this place were next level. There were only 3 or 4 (NO bread knife!) and they were basically unusable. For the price even a cheap set of Ikea knives would be appreciated. The dishwasher did work, but probably could use a filter cleaning. When I ran it on the 90c setting the dishes did get clean. The beds were fine, but a bit on the soft side for some and in the bathroom the lighting was terrible as there was only 1 high beam light in the middle of the ceiling. Cleanliness was also alright, but could have been better. After doing some morning stretches in the living room it was clear the carpet could use a good going over. Location was also a bit awkward. The property is located just far enough away from town that one is forced to drive pretty much everywhere, but it's still close enough to hear the train and be located in a neighbourhood. Would I stay there again or recommend it? Perhaps, and again the place isn't bad, but with how much choice there is now and how many excellent places are available, I'd probably look around a bit more before committing.

Great base to use as a base to explore Speyside.
It was cosy. Easy walking distance to town. Great views
Some of the crockery was a little worn and could do with replacing.

Very good
Location and view from the garden room and bedrooms was amazing. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water.
Shower screen leaky. Towels smelled weird so had to wash them and were a bit thin but that's not picking as the property really suited my needs.
