Nice house in quiet cul-de-sac

Very nice house in a quiet neighbourhood, short 5 minute drive into Avimore. Parking for 2 cars. Master bedroom has ensuite. Comfortable beds.

Blackout blinds on the bedroom windows would be a good idea, especially in the summer, where it is light very early and late. The main bathroom doesn't really have a shower, just a hose attached to the bath. Unfortunately, there is no shower curtain, and the water pressure is very high, so the bathroom gets drenched if you use this facility. Exit cleaning requirements are a bit excessive. Also, check-in is not until 5pm, not 4pm as stated on the listing, which is rather late, especially when paired with a 10am checkout

The size and space of the property. The quietness of the location with an enclosed private garden, yet close to amenities.

We could not work the tv. Thankfully, we had our daughter-in-law with us and she could operate it. Something about having to use a precise sequence of buttons and pairing, technology is not our thing. A minor detail really.

It was to short :-) We had such a lovely time that we should have booked a more extended stay.

The mattrass in the master bedroom needs replacement. But this is really the only thing that we could come up with :-) Everything else is just perfect !

The host is very friendly and accommodating. Our job was in the middle of nowhere so it was good to find affordable accommodation relatively nearby and not at summer season crazy price.

An excellent summer break in the highlands

Tieveragh is a large and comfortable three bedroomed house at the top end of Aviemore, well furnished and equipped with plenty of private outside space and parking for up to three cars. Even an old man like me can walk to the far end of the town in half an hour and the house is located right beside the Speyside Way which is excellent for walking and cycling.

The house was a good size and layout for our party of four adults and two children and a great base for exploring Aviemore and beyond. Avril was great at communication and the house was very clean.

There wasn't very much space in the kitchen for storing or preparing food, which made self catering for 6 a bit awkward at times, but that was only a very minor quibble.

Lovely house

House was fabulous, absolutely immaculate, great location, fab garden with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be back.

Only one small thing the bed was a little too soft for our liking but could not fault anything.
