Relaxing and quiet hotel. Clean, warm and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend it!

Excellent location close to Leiden, 25min walk to the centre or a short bus ride. The hotel is located in estate grounds, very quiet and ideal to relax. It is nice to walk out of a hotel and not be greeted by hundreds of people walking the streets. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the Leiden area.

Pleasant stay in a stylish surrounding

Good breafast. Haven't seen any boiled eggs though.

The beds are extremely soft. You almost get the feeling you will roll out of the bed if you don't lie in the exact middle.

Amazing location, great staff.

Lovely hotel next to a historic castle that is close to Leiden and a nice park area

Breakfast and lunch were very tasty. The restaurant had a lovely vibe with lighting and music style. Location allowed for a lovely walk in the woods around the property but also next to a Leiden park. I also enjoyed the casual seating around the hotel and at the bar.

A wonderful overnight in Leiden

Location just perfect for a short walk into the town. Ample parking. Easy check in. Staff really welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Room just perfect. Super quiet. 11am check out on Saturday was great too

Relax in a beautiful, quiet setting, very close to Leiden

The setting was superb, lovely walks through the forest and a stately home nearby. It was the birthday of one of the group - the restaurant arranged a lovely table, bubbles, decorations and desert with sparklers.

The room could have had an easy chair.

Restaurant, no choice whatsoever, only 3+cours set menu. No salad possible, no small pasta, no fish, no nothing... Staff (lady) forbidding you to sit on terras for a drink because it was reserved. Hours later still no one on the terras..

Comfortable and pleasant!

Breakfast was delicious and varied, staff were friendly and polite, and the grounds are beautiful. The hotel is lcoated fairly close to everything we needed and gave a great base of operations for us to get ready for the wedding we attended.

The selection of teas on the tea tray in the room didn't include English breakfast tea, so I ended up taking some from breakfast, but that's really the only thing I can think of - a tiny thing!

The place is beautiful, I wish I would have arrived earlier to have a drink and dinner at the lovely restaurant. Free parking is ultra handy and close to Keukenhof.

The rooms are practical but miss flair. Very different stile from the buildings around. The window is tiny and apparently hot during summertime.

The property has no retail nearby. It takes nearly half an hour to walk to the train station. I had to wait a long time at reception for the staff to come out to check me in. Check out did not go smoothly. The agent could not figure out how to close out the reservation.

Nice location in a quiet place. Garden around the palace with the small lake. Great and helpful staff. Nice (but a bit long) walk to the city centre via paths along the canals with some good architecture around.

I liked the surrounding areas but it was heavy rains. Couldn't walk around. Very sad. The staff are friendly and helpful. Service oriented and professional. The bed was clean and comfortable. Smart TV. I can watch my Chinese drama on YouTube.

Breakfast selection wasn't that great. The dinner was 3-5 courses meals. No à la carte menu. A bit disappointing but the restaurant crew was very kind to find some small bites.

Great hotel, we would book it again!

In the summer, when the trees are full with leaves, the surrounding must look absolutely stunning with the small castle next to it . Breakfast was good, but a little pricey. The free parking is directly behind the hotel and very convenient. There is a bus stop about 5 mins away with a direct connection to the city centre.
