Pescallo is a tiny fisherman's hamlet set by the water's edge about 10 minutes away from Bellagio's main thoroughfare. Gorgeous water views are from the rural farmhouse chic living room and small terrace, as well as the loft-like main bedroom. To reach the food shops, supermarket and village square, you'd walk up a cobblestoned shortcut for 5 minutes. It might take the wind of out of you for a bit initially, but after 3 days, you'll manage just fine! To reach the traghettos at the promenade, after the cobblestoned shortcut, you'd proceed through a small park to the promenade where the larger restaurants are. Again, that's about 10 minutes, and entirely doable. Bellagio is as quaint and charming as Como gets and what is even better are the direct water views throughout the apartment. And, if you are brave enough, you'd cap it off with a chilly dip outside your front door into that glacial lake! All in all, a very good stay as the apartment was well-equipped, Naomi was prompt and efficient, and the temperature in the apartment was centrally controlled.
Our apartment was #1 and we had to navigate up some flights of stairs that were dimly lit. We managed nonetheless.

It was a great location right on the lake and a walk into Bellagio. Bedrooms were very spacious with beautiful crisp linen. It was also serviced every day. On arrival the fridge was stocked with a few necessities and a welcome bottle of wine and a bowl of fresh fruit.
The apartment had 4 flights of stairs so I would not recommend it for people with walking problems etc.

Located just beside Lake Como with a nice view of the lake and the Alps. We watched the sun rise from behind the Alps on both days while we were there. There is a charming pebbled path behind the apartment that leads to the town centre. Requires climbing up and down flights of stairs but that’s the charm of little Italian towns right?
The minute I stepped into the building, the aroma a scented candle filled the space which lifted our senses after a day of traveling from Rome.
The apartment was super clean and spacious, fully equipped kitchen. The owner thoughtfully prepped the fridge with bottled drinking water (still & sparkling), coffee machine +capsules, small carton of milk and butter and welcome fruits. There was also a multi adapter made available in the living area. Multi as it had a few plugs and at least 6 usb points. (I didn’t count) This addition actually made my boys lay around the living area (which means more time to connect) during the stay which was unusual. :)
My family of five - husband and I, two teenager boys and MIL in 70s really liked the cosy & tastefully decorated apartment.
Having bidet in the toilets will be a nice addition for me.
