Tiny room but clean and secure

Speedy check-in and good room security. The room was very clean with plenty of towels and tea/coffee. It was also warm once the radiator was switched on. There were ample power points and a welcome light above the bed. It also had a fridge and microwave which I did not use.

The room was absolutely tiny! The sink was on top of the toilet cistern and it was difficult to get into the shower past the toilet. You had to get dressed in the room rather than the bathroom and there was no space to put your case. Because there was the bathroom wall right next to the top of the bed, the heat in the room didn't get to that area. To be fair, it was advertised as small and economy but I was not expecting that small and the price paid was excessive for the size!

Nothing.

Rooms too small. Bathrooms too small. Showers too small. My room had no heating so it was very cold. Access early morning was through the service yard.

Lovely hotel in central Newmarket

Spacious room. Very clean and comfortable. Very good facilities (iron, coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, toiletries, etc) Very nice cocktails at the bar and good food menu. Great location

The check out is a bit early at 10am . Usually hotels have an 11am check out and although one can stay longer, there an extra charge. Because the cost of the room is not cheap, it would add up to it.

Not the best and not worth money

The face and lobby was well designed

Rooms were so far apart, got an email saying my room would be a double with bath and when we arrived it had a shower no bath, window didn’t lock and was off a stairwell where anyone could of got in if they wanted so didn’t sleep well knowing it didn’t lock, when first arrived took abit of tissue of toilet roll holder and the toilet roll holder fell off the wall. Toilet door was stiff to open I had to shove the door hard and hurt myself.

Nice night at the races which come with a hefty price tag for a nights stay at the hotel.

Location is good albeit parking on site is limited but there is a public car park a few minutes away. The room is small and clean and seemed to have been refurbished possibly within the last couple of years. Tea, coffee and biscuits available and air con . All staff were very nice and helpful. Free bus to the racecourse which stops pretty much outside the hotel.

We stayed for an event at the nearby racecourse and unfortunately supply and demand meant we payed £263 for one night which frankly was very expensive, the room was not worth that. I was expecting something wow but got ok. Tbf all nearby hotels seemingly charge hefty prices when there is an event on at the racecourse but I just thought £263 was too much, I would not stay over at a hotel again if I ever attended an event at the racecourse in future. Guess I did,not feel I got value for money, as an example my daughter just had a 3 night stay in Santorini for the price i paid for one night in Newmarket.

Shower in Room 8 needs looking at! Turned on Tsp-Water came out Hot !!! Cold Tap wouldn’t turn at all so couldn’t have a shower as water too hot for me to get under !

Disappointed with the hotel, expensive and like a maze to get to the room

There was no storage facilities, 3 Coat hangers and that was other storage, We had to live out of the suitcase, first time ever, we payed a lot of money for our stay, so bad and disappointing
