OK location

OK room. Was fairly clean.

No staff available for 30 min when waiting for check-in. Extremely small room for 60€ a night. Quite expensive for what you get.

Superb

The staff was prompt, helpful and professional. The breakfast was delicious and original. The view from the terrace on the lake was breathtaking.

The breakfast was ok but standard. Good that they have different breakfast prices depending on the age of children. Great view over the Ossiacher Sea.

We would not reccomend this guest house because of several reasons. nem ajánlott 1)Difficult to communicate with the owners and employees, they only speak Hungarian not German or English in an German speaking Country. 2)we did not trust the bookings in the restaurant because we did not receive bills at the end oft he dinner. Waitresses told us that the guest house reception takes care of the bills. 3) The owners are noisy during night time and partying until 4.am, the room of the owners was below our room. when we call attention the owner played dumb and did not know anything about a party or the noise. 4)The telephone number of Gabi's guest house on the website booking.com or google maps is wrong 5)The food of the restaurant at the guest house is terrible, breakfast ok but standard. We ordered Tramezzini with different spreads and chicken salad. The food is not homemade. It is canned food and junk food.

It was not straight forward to find out where the reception was (it is at Jägerhof btw). I came by bike and i was not prepared to the very steep ascent to the property

Found at the last second, very good price/performance ratio.

We liked free parking space, beautiful view and easy access to garden and restaurant (our room was on the ground zero).

There were some small technical issues with the shower, but nothing important.

Always a good destination, close to all the lakes and events

Awesome view over the Ossiach Lake and the Burgruine Landskron. Comfy bed, modernized facilities. Very friendly personell. Since we were there during European Bike Week the rates were rather high. I would definitely recommend taking a room in the Jägerhotel / Jägerhof, which is right next door, because there are newer and larger rooms at mostly the same rate. It is owned by the same people and both guest houses share one reception (which is in the Jägerhotel anyways)

The rooms are quite small. They have been modernized not too far back, but apparently they took an already small room and build a bathroom into it, made mostly out of glass, which lacks some privacy when spending time in the bathroom. We did not try the breakfast for 14 Euros.

Ideal stay for me

I arrived befor checkin-time and was alliwd to leave my luggagw. Single room was small, bit newly renovated, cody, simple style with bathroom built in. Would choose Gabi‘s Guesthouse again.

Great view and comfortable bed.

Reception is in the Hotel next door, rang the desk bell and waited 5 mins with other guests no one arrived. Went to the restaurant to find a member of staff who then left the bar and checked us in. Rooms are small as other reviews stated so no surprise there but the bathroom is tiny and without any means of ventilation as the extractor fan was inoperative. Communal terrace from room. Bar closed at 21:00.

Odlicna lokacija. Predivan pogled. Ugodno osoblje. Solidan dorucak.

U sobi je strasno hladno cijelo vrijeme i nema nikakve opcije da se grijanje pojaca. Wc i kupaona nisu spojeni sa sobom i do tusa treba proci na drugu stranu hodnika gdje prolaze svi ostali gosti.

Zimmer 31: Schimmel u viel zu kleine Dusche, Wasser wurde zeitweise viel zu heiß - Verbrennungsgefahr! WC defekt - Spülung ist geronnen. Keine Klimaanlage? Balkone verbunden u viel zu einsichtig für die Nachbarn, abendliches draußen sitzen u plaudern wäre störend. Taubengurren in den Morgenstunden, zT Vogelkot am Balkon.

Die Aussicht ist einfach super schön,Lage ist ziemlich gut für die durschreisende, kurz gefasst hat uns das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und würden immer gerne weiterempfehlen

WC und Dusche waren im Flur direkt vor unserem Zimmer und nicht im Zimmer was sehr ungewöhnlich für uns war,aber war für uns nicht so tragisch da wir nur eine Nacht da waren Durchfahrt waren

Fantastisk udsigt.

Vi havde bestilt nogle værelser, og grundet vi kom sent var nøglerne bare lagt til os i receptionen. Der manglede dog nøgler til 2 ud af 4 værelser. Det fik vi løst, dog sov min svigerfar i et rum, hvor der stod “privat” på døren, og i det ene værelse var der kun 3 senge, trods vi havde bestilt et værelse til 4 personer. Personalet og min mand fik dog løftet en ekstra seng op, og vi kompensation ift. morgenmaden. Så overall - en lidt udfordrende start, men det blev løst og kompenseret med tilfredshed. :)

Das Frühstück war gut, die Lage sehr schön.

Das Personal im Service konnte sehr schlecht deutsch. Statt Bier haben wir einen Hugo bekommen. Das Badezimmer war nur über den Gang erreichbar, da kam die ganzen vier Tage niemand zum Reinmachen.
