Prfect home for my first time in Ubud.

The team really helped me feel welcome and safe.very attentive, friendly and around to guide me or offer help or service. I really enjoyed that the villa is located close enough but still a bit away from the buzz and the busy streets but still in an area with a vibe. The surrounding areas are beautiful and there are heaps of restaurants, massage places, shopping and a big grocery store available within a 15 min walk.

The breakfast was somewhat limited in choices but still enjoyed a tasty fruit platter in the morning.

A satisfactory and mostly relaxing stay

Having a private pool and day bed was lovely and the pool size was good for the price we paid. It was nice to have the option of sitting and eating breakfast (or room service) outside at the villa. It was also helpful having a large fridge in the kitchen area and plenty of water provided daily and nightly mozzie coils. The staff were mostly friendly and tried to help when we raised concerns. I liked the feel of being in nature - for me, geckos, snails and chipmonks are a welcome part of Bali however not for everyone. Also the outdoor bathroom is not for everyone but I enjoyed it.

The property is very much in need of some maintenance and cleaning. We stayed for a week and after the first couple of days we noticed a significant decrease in the standard of cleaning and breakfast was undercooked (and on one occasion we found a hair) and orders incorrect (chicken on a vegetarian dish). Unfortunately the area is much more congested these days and the once quiet paths are full of motorbikes/scooters and there was a lot of noisy construction nearby. The villas themselves are close to each other and we could see into others from certain points, so it was lacking privacy (also very close to neighbouring properties.) I definitely would not consider them luxury villas which is what is stated on their website. If you are looking for a modern villa with the associated amenities i would avoid this place. If you dont mind run down and dated, then this is fine for the price you pay.

Villa Experience with Exceptional Service

Our stay at Vila Nirvana was memorable. The spacious private villa with its own pool offered a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The garden shrine added a touch of Balinese culture, while the open-air bathroom enhanced the exotic experience. The staff went above and beyond for my wife's birthday, collaborating with me on a surprise celebration, decorating the bed, and providing a complimentary birthday cake with candles - a gesture that made our stay extra special. We loved having breakfast served in our villa and appreciated the golf cart service to navigate the car-free zone. Overall, waking up to our beautiful private pool each morning brightened our entire Ubud experience!

A beautiful villa with wonderful staff

Firstly the staff were exceptional! So friendly, accommodating, attentive and lovely! We regularly used room service/the restaurant/laundry service/massages and it was all great. The villa was even more beautiful than the photos show, it really felt like being dropped in paradise. The one bedroom villa with private pool is perfect for couples, felt like an idyllic love nest. The location was great, a 5/10 minute walk to Ubud center via the pretty Penestanan stairs. We found that Grab was the easiest way to get around, we always got a driver within 5 minutes and it was cheap. A good tip is to book a pick up from Cafe Vespa, a nearby lovely cafe, as the villa is on a pedestrianised street. Overall I definitely recommend Villa Nirvana for a quiet, beautiful and convenient place to stay in the heart of Ubud.

Great peaceful villa

This hotel was amazing. Super quiet and peaceful in a location just outside the main streets of Ubud. The room was clean and so comfortable. We booked a one bedroom villa but were given a two bedroom all to ourselves.

Great value for a one bedroom villa that is not far from the central area.

Breakfast was simple but tasty. The room was lovely and the one we had including the pool was completely private behind high walls. Not all villas had the same level of privacy. There were a number of good places to eat on the laneway (referred to below) and a number of great restaurants near by on the main road such as Dumbo, Arcadia and Mozaic (very pricey by Bali standards but still good value by Australian standards for a 9 course degustation with extra canapes etc.)

Staff were not always present on the desk - and we missed breakfast one day as there was no one around. The villas fronts a laneway that was not accessible by car. There was a golf cart to meet our taxi on arrival (in torrential rain). Would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. The laneway where it meets the main road is a long set of steps. However, being on this laneway was a welcome relief from the very noise traffic of Ubud.

We booked for 2x 2 bedrooms villa. Amazing staff, big swimming pool, very clean , comfy beds. Located in the quiet area, neighbourhood is amazing. We like the place a lot.

Very nice villa with private pool. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delivered every morning to our villa which was perfect. Location is good, several good restaurants within walking distance and not far from Ubud centre (20 minute walk).

- The location of the villa is great (slight discreet, away from noisy street, 10-15mins walk to Main Street) - Villa looks exactly the same with the photos, pools are big and clean - Breakfast is included in the package - Balinese spa is great - Friendly staffs that accommodates to your requests (there was once we booked spa at 7pm, however due to traffic, we were late, the staff stayed back for us) - Good house keeping and turn down service

- No shelter from walk of entrance to villa - Breakfast choices was limited - Wifi for TV is weak, usually cannot load tv channels and other apps like Youtube videos - Bed linen will change every 3 days only for eco-friendly (but can be changed daily upon request) - Certain staffs do not understand English, have to use translator or wait for other staffs - Bath tub is open aired, always dirty with leaves and dirt, don't think of using it daily or during rainy weather - Limited toiletries, certain toiletries will not be refilled from daily housekeeping unless requested from reception

Lunch and Dinner was a bit of a hassle till we started ordering by Gojek app.. you need to walk atleast 15-20 mins for vegetarian restaurants and there are poorly lit areas with no street lights which seems the norm in Ubud..

Fabulous stay in a quiet area of Bali.

We loved our stay at Villa Nirvana. The staff were so helpful and always friendly- Arta, Jenny, Landra and Jero were lovely people, always smiling. The one bedroom villa was gorgeous and clean and we loved the private pool with gardens. We will be back.

Great locations, away from Ubud's city center but at the same time quite close to it. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Spacious villa with huge outdoor bathroom and both the villa as well as the premises were very well maintained.
