The room was quite spacious and clean, with a lot of wood everywhere, with very nice furniture. We liked the home "shoes, which were cute. It was calm and peaceful. The geographical place was quite comfortable. We were presented with a small panettone on Christmas which was a small nice surprise. But there was another larger surprise...

Preamble: Due to an issue on booking.com with 2 accounts (we did not know about two account even during the vacation) it ended up that we made two different reservations, about the first one we did not know since it was absent in the interface of booking.com and the second using official website of Eden hotel. Eden hotel acknowledged us about 2 reservations at the same time when charged full amount of money as "No-Show" - too late. A person from the reception said that Eden hotel will refund money only in case booking.com confirms that either: - the cancellation before the arrival date - an issue with the reservation is due to booking.com bug/issue/problem It ended up that booking.com did not confirm any of those. But just to let other people understand that there is really a mess inside very concisely - I have one same reservation in 2 different accounts (August 2025, I can tell the number of reservation and pin code if needed)! (So be very careful, your reservation can be available for some other person! GDPR - hello). I am even fine if I am refunded partially - taking into account one night loss. I made 15 calls I think in total to booking.com and 5 to Eden hotel. Booking.com says that the money is taken by the hotel, the hotel sais that I should be in touch with booking.com. I prepared numerous screenshots (10+) with proofs that it was not my fault. But no result in the end. Christmas was totally spoiled. A booking.com specialist commented: "it happens". Another person said that "In any case booking.com will refund money to me, hotel will not lose any money, there will be no fee, your loyalty is everything and money is nothing for booking.com". No exceptional treatment of my situation - just charged 1645 euros for Christmas and this is it. FOR CHRISTMAS!!!! The "garden" was extremely poor, maybe not a good season...

Great modern hotel in Bormio

Nice hotel, the staff was accommodating for a last minute change of plans, the room was large and the breakfast excellent. We did not use the spa but we were able to use it in another hotel of the chain, which was great. All staff were kind and helpful.

some restructuring in the hotel means that there was noise at 8am. Not ideal.

Really good breakfast, the staff is great and the room had a lot of space, ideal for families. Also, the location is fantastic. Would reccomend.

There were renovations to the breakfast area which we were on made aware of after the booking, I didn’t choose another hotel as they were doing the same so disappointing to find out after the booking was made.

Excellent.

Room was very modern, well designed and appointed with hidden kitchenette and walk in robe. Location of hotel was excellent and was just a 5-minute walk to the center of town. We had to leave early in the next morning for Milan airport, so the hotel staff packed our breakfast the night before, which was great.

Beautiful room and exceptional breakfast, but service not up to a 4 starts hotel

The room is amazing - good size and nicely furnished. The bathroom is very spacious and I really appreciated the eco solution for shower gel and shampoo (solid pills wrapped in a carton box). Breakfast is simply amazing!! Great quality and variety.

I felt the staff did not provide the service level I would expect from a 4 starts hotel during the check-in. When booking I asked if it was possible to have an early check-in. When I arrived they gave me a room different from what I booked and when I said I was expecting a different room they mentioned that that what they had available for the early check in and even mentioned it was an upgrade when actually the room was smaller (at least that what looked to me). I’m obviously fine to wait for the check-in time if the room is not ready, still they could have asked the cleaning team to prioritize the room and reduce the waiting time. Also, the elevator was broken - you could use it but the light was not working and I ended up being completely in the dark when the doors closed. The staff knew as a technician was there to fix it, but they did not mention anything nor they put a sign to notify the issue. I would have appreciated to be informed at least and decide to take the stairs instead. In a 4 start hotel I would have also expected to being offered to help with the bags if taking the stairs

Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant in the hotel working in the afternoon. Breakfast is the only dish you will eat in this hotel. Walking distance from the slopes

Parking is 12 EUR / night if you book through booking. On their own website, parking is 8 EUR! So they are not treating guests equally in that manner. Sauna is additionally paid .... and its 50 EUR per 1hr 20mins! This is the first time I see that in 4* hotel I need to pay for sauna. In general, we felt on every step that they want to charge you additionally for everything that would be possible. This is far away from the hospitality I know from other 4* hotels.
