We had such a beautiful view of the bell tower and the town from our suite! They also stored our bicycles as we were on a cycle tour. The property was so cute and it was located right in the centre of town so everything was close by. There’s an amazing bakery right across the street!

Great ambience and service - a real treat!

I booked for one night whilst touring the area, but ended up wishing I could stay longer. This is a delightful owner-run hotel, with courteous and friendly service. My room had a balcony with a mountain view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Unusually for a small hotel, there was an elevator, which I appreciated, as my room was on the third floor. The choice of breakfast was excellent. The main street is just outside the front door, with a wide array of restaurants and delightful architecture. The owner even allowed me to park my motorcycle in the small car park. I recommend this place as a base for touring the region.

I was fortunate that I was on a motorcycle. If you arrive by car you may have to park on the street or in a car park. However, there are plenty of places to park nearby.

It was a nice stay in a marvellous mountain town but with some compromises / OK value for the money

very friendly and forthcoming staff, very convenient location: right in the city center. My room however was facing a small side road which was quieter. It featured a small balcony large enough to sit outside and watch the impressive mountain view. The breakfast was typically Italian with strongly leaning on the sweet side which is not so much my thing but there are great cakes from a lokal bakery and croissants, as well as yogurts, cornflakes, apples - and they serve freshly brewed Italian coffee (in different variations);

The bed was quite short (not even 2,00 m long - which is too short for me) and not really comfy. I needed to stack 2 pillows on top of each other to obtain an acceptable sleeping quallity but it was OK in the end. The room was quite small and only featured the basics. There were NO free plugs - one had to unplug one of the night lamps. There were no cooking options, not even a water cooker for making some tea or coffee. The breakfast lacked completely any sort of eggs (scrambled, boiled, ham & eggs...) and had very limited choices for anybody NOT preferring a sweet breakfast (no veggies, only some sort of cheese, white buns and some smoked ham - which was tasty though). Sometimes the upper neighbors regardlessly had loud late night discussion which is however NOT the hotel's fault, obviously. The hotel has a small parking lot - however, the emphasis is on SMALL and NARROW - it was very tricky to pilot my minivan to and from my parking spot

Hotel with good potential, but run on a budget mood ... It is an hotel right in the center of Bormio, in a hystoric building. The room is so-so (apart the shower, that was just bad), breakfast ok, the hotel Management ok ... but everything could be much better with a little more of attention ...

The toilette was unfortunately in need of a lot of maintenace.

Una sorpresa!

Avevo richiesto una piccola sorpresa per il compleanno di mio marito, ma non avendo avuto riscontro ero convinta di non trovare nulla. E invece, no! Entriamo in camera e troviamo palloncini ovunque e una torta di compleanno molto buona! È stata una sorpresa per tutti! Ci siamo trovati molto bene e sicuramente ci ritorneremo! Grazie mille!

In centro, ma consiglio i tappi…

Posizione, staff, menu colazione abbastanza vario.

La struttura non è per niente insonorizzata. A livello acustico, l’albergo è un’unica grande stanza in cui ogni piccolo rumore (es. Aperture porte adiacenti) viene amplificato al massimo. Le scale e l’ascensore sono vicino alle camere. In due notti su due ho sentito chiaramente i rumori vicini e l’albergo era relativamente vuoto. Inoltre, non ci sono le persiane. C’è solo una tenda per coprire la finestra ma non copre assolutamente niente. Ovviamente, tutto questo sarebbe evitabile se gli esseri umani fossero in grado di stare gli ambienti civili e ci fosse rispetto per il prossimo: in due notti su due, all’una di notte, la stanza sopra la mia ha iniziato a gridare, urlare, parlare a voce altissima e spostando cose in maniera vergognosamente rumorosa, parlando pure nei corridoi e ripetendo lo stesso procedimento la mattina presto. Zero rispetto per le altre persone. Consiglio vivamente dei tappi per le orecchie, specialmente se l’albergo sarà pieno altrimenti sarà IMPOSSIBILE dormire. A buon intenditor… L’albergo vista la posizione e la cordialità dello staff potrebbe fare il salto di qualità migliorando gli infissi e sopratutto mettendo in chiaro gli orari in cui non si può disturbare, ma forse non è nei loro progetti.
