Best value for money in town, top location and lovely staff.

I stayed in this hotel 6 nights, so I believe my review should be pretty realistic about what this accommodation can offer. There are plenty of great things to say about this accommodation like the top location in Bormio centre, the parking availability still being in the centre, the amazing breakfast offer, the super value for money, but if I should pick the best I would say the staff and the atmosphere they create which made me feel like I was at home. If I should be back in Bormio, without any doubts I would be back here.

There is nothing negative I could mention. The rooms are basic (if you look for luxury you cannot expect to have this price level) but perfectly functioning in every feature. I saw some negative reviews concerning the stairs, and yes the stairs are there and not easy if somebody has some deambulation issues. However, this is clearly and transparently mentioned in the hotel description, so it shouldn’t impact the reviews at all because no surprise here if someone reads the description.

Very convenient location. All within walking distance. Cosy room with a well maintained old Italian vibe which we can't see it feels like a modern society hotel. The staff can't speak English but she still very friendly and took the effort to talk to you and offer drinks.

Just the window curtain I hope they put something more thicker. It is too translucent for my liking.

The place to stay in Bormio

Location in old town, walking distance and short driving distance to everything. Very nice couple run the place. Provide excellent restaurant options nearby, and other good information. They don't speak English but patiently explain things to you in Italian. Great breakfast, as well as coffees which locals come to have. The hotel is in an old historical building and is well kept, and everything in it works just fine. There is no elevator, since they weren't invented when the place was built, but the stairs are of beautiful warm aged wood and thus inviting to walk on.

I liked everything, including value for money with breakfast in an historic building. You wander around Bormio, looking at 15th and 16th century buildings, and then come home to sleep in one just like the ones you were looking at and photographing.

Classical alp hotel with lovely owners and idyllic wooden furniture.

Breakfast was superb and salty options were available too; a lit fireplace in the breakfast hall! Good location, 100m from the main street. The room was nice and cozy.

A lot of stairs. The place was a bit spooky at the night with dim lights in the hallways. Not for travellers seeking modern facilities.

Family business, we felt great. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, perfect location in a beautiful city of Bormio. We could rest a lot after climbing Passo dello Stelvio on our bicycles. Great breakfast, coffee, cheese and ham and other stuff to eat. Owners and workers were really kind, we communicated mainly with hands, but if 2 parties want to communicate, they´ll find a way. Camera was a great place to stay, with safe place for the bicycles to store during nights. We would definitely book a night there again.

The location is perfect, 2 min by walk from the city center. The breakfast was good with tasty local products. The check in starts at 12 pm, not at 3 pm as usually in other places. Bormio is very nice, everyone should visit it!

Nice hotel with wonderful people in beautiful surroundings.

I really liked the kindness of the personnel. Breakfast was great, in an old building with a big fire. Don't expect luxury, but expect authenticity with kind people. Great value for money.

Nothing really, there is not much luxury, but everything was fine. Old beds, but warm.
