Highly recommend the hotel and it’s restaurant

This is a fabulous hotel with polite, friendly and attentive staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was superb and the restaurant staff were all first class. We particularly appreciated the secure bike storage room which had plenty of space and a charging point. We can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We booked a room for three at the hotel san lorenzo. after that we changed the booking to 4 people. When we arrived, we found out that we were not accommodated in the San Lorenzo Hotel, but in a neighboring building which is not a hotel; there was no room cleaning, or hygiene products. There was absolutely nothing that is in the hotel. The idea is that we booked a room at the San Lorenzo Hotel, but without warning they moved us into a completely different building which is not a hotel. This is a blatant deception and fraud.

- some rooms are pretty old - bed was a disaster, pillows horrible, like stones - no shower in the bathrooms, strange old bathtub where you could only shower while sitting

The hotel was fabulous. The room had alpine style like expected. Everything was renovated and worked like expected. The breakfast was fabulous.

The structure is nice. Location is good. Breakfast is good. Free Parking was possible thanks to the owner who kept a place for us.

I did not like the fact that at the selection stage, three points were not clear or highlighted as it should be : 1- the parking cost of 10€/night for a guaranteed space... 2- 2 hours of paid sauna 25€/person. I was expecting this to be included as service to customers. 3- I asked for queen-size bed which was an option that can be taken, I received confirmation later that was saying it was a double bed which is not acceptable. In fact upon arrival I had an upgrade of the room with queen bed No matter say that at the confirmation these were written in the notes. Anyhow the stay overall went well as they did an upgrade of room upon arrival and the owner seemed to be much more kind than the staff at the reception.

Ski trip during the English Alpine championships.

Location was pretty central in the town, yet a good (and enjoyable) 10 minute walk to the ski area. That said, the bus stop to take you to the ski area was right in front of the hotel. The staff - both front desk and restaurant - were friendly and professional.

I had to do some online meetings and the internet was not great.

a great base from which to explore the surrounding mountain passes/thermal pools

The staff were very friendly/helpful and the breakfasts were excellent with both buffet and hot food options provided. The 3 course evening meal option was also excellent value and prepared to a high standard.
