Loved it so much we plan to come back!

Overall the property was light and airy. The rooms were warm and comfortable and the communal areas were perfect for relaxing. There were great bar and food options on site and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and went out of their way to make our stay special.

Could hear some noise from the road so just something to be aware of if you’re not used to being so close to a road.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous town with the backdrop of the Alps. The staff was super helpful. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of food. The rooms are decorated with a contemporary mountain style. Book this stay, you won’t be sorry.

Great place to stay whilst touring on motorbikes.

Brilliant location with secure underground parking for our motorbikes. Good food. Great beer garden. Live music was an added bonus. The background view was lovely. Highly recommend this hostel.

Our room had an extra bunk style bed and we kept banging our heads on it.

Pleasant stay, but things could be improved

Every single person we talked to at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel's common areas were great: very cozy and stylish dining area and library and the most beautiful garden overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was great, and everything we tried from the menu during lunch or dinner was also tasty. We loved the general vibe of the place: very relaxed, many people stayed with their dogs. Laundry facilities were helpful. The whole place was sparkling clean and the beds were comfy. Great location too: close to the bus stop and to a large supermarket, short walk into the city center and right next to the hotel you have a beautiful mountain path.

I booked the economy room (it was the only one available) which is a room for people with disabilities and is on the ground floor, which was not a problem for us. However what the booking doesn't say is that this room is situated behind the reception and right next to the hotel's toilet. So just a couple of meters away from your bed you can hear people going into the bathroom, chatting, running water, turning locks etc and finally slamming the door on the way out. This would go on until late at night and start again early in the morning. The second surprise revealed itself when one of us took a shower and the water literally flooded the whole bathroom floor including next to the toilet. The standing puddles of water would not go away not in a few hours nor in the morning. I've stayed in rooms for people with disabilities before and haven't ever encountered such a problem. The hotel offered us a different room the next day with a discounted upgrade, however I don't think it's fair we had to pay more just so our room doesn't have flooded bathroom and a public bathroom next to the door. Imho the initial room shouldn't be offered to guests at all or at least come with a warning and a much bigger discount (and I wouldn't it book it then). And it's definitely not fair to people with disabilities who are stuck with it. Overall I think the hotel could improve its noise levels: the constant slamming of the room doors on all floors was kind of distracting and not in line with a relaxing mountain vibe. Among other smaller things, I missed "don't disturb" sign for the doors, a tea kettle and glasses and maybe a TV in case the weather is bad and you just want to relax after the long day of hiking.

How a hostel should be

Great space. Beautiful. Comfortable. The bunk beds had space for each person and were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the people working there are really nice.

Very good value for money!

If you don't mind sleeping in a hostel, then this is a gem! The lobby, the rooms, the breakfast, everything was really nice and well maintained. Very clean rooms and toilets. Place to put your bike in the garage with some working tools even. Great place!

Lovely hostel that doesn't feel like a hostel

We didn't actually realise this was a hostel until we arrived, but we were actually pleasantly surprised. It felt more like a quirky small boutique hotel rather than a hostel. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfy. Small buffet breakfast was also tasty. Restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Our stay was just one night but couldn't fault anything.

A fantastic oasis of quite from where start countless adventures

Everything was wonderful, from the common areas curated in every detail to the room with the traditional wooden furniture, but with a hint of modernity. Great breakfast with a large choice of salted or sweet delicatessen to chose from. The staff helped us to find out great local shops and also gave us the name of their dairy shop, from where we bought cheeses one more delicious than the other.

Staff is super nice and helped us a lot! We stayed just one night but I would recommend staying longer as this place is in a nice and quiet location but not far from the city center. Breakfast was lovely and our room was spotless with a nice view.

the bar and common area closed at 8pm!! and had no access to the kitchen without staff who left at 8pm. one night we had to eat dinner in our room and could not access any cutlery or order drinks

Superb

Very friendly staff, always very helpful. The room was really clean. Breakfast was tasty, but not much to choose from ( just the basics), still worth the value. In the evening there was a fire on and an opportunity to have a cozy evening with a glass of wine. And the staff brought some finger food for free. ( Amazing and very caring service). They make it a very homely feeling. I recommend this place!

For a out-of-season family stay: I forgot how small bunk beds are! But the double bedroom is nice. Sound carries a bit, in the building, it is a hostel after all.

Family hostel, with hotel vibes.

Great value for money and nice facilities. Private and secure parking for my motorcycle. Nice breakfast.

Foosball (calcetto) table was near reception and unfortunately near my room. There were kids playing at 8am and after 10pm. Not something that is soothing for the ears, unfortunately, if you want to rest.

An excellent accommodation. Very friendly and courteous staff. Excellent breakfast. Everything is new, very clean and tidy. Especially suitable for cyclists as there is a locked storage room for the bikes. I can fully recommend to stay there.

Very clean and new. Nice views, the garden, decor and lots of space. There is a pleasant path next to the river just behind the garden for a easy stroll. Linen, bath gel are provided. Decent breakfast buffet too. Value for money for the solo traveler. There is parking for your bike if you cycle too. Friendly staff too.
