We got upgraded to one of the rooms in the hotel. It was fantastic, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The shower and bathroom were very nice and the staff were very welcoming. I also had a drink from the minibar and thought the price was very reasonable.

we got upgraded and had a water bed and an outside patio. it’s too bad we weren’t staying longer. we had breakfast delivered to our room and it was amazing. very nice!

Excellent stay here back in August. fantastic rooms, they were cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided. Reception staff very friendly and answered any questions. Breakfast superb with the best scrambled eggs ever! Will be going back in November.

Guesthouse rooms were very nice

Four couples traveling together, so we had the entire guest house and I was able to view each room. The very top floor room had some stairs in addition to the elevator, but had a very nice rooftop terrace with a little table and chairs. This room is the only one that did not have an en suite bathroom, however there was a sink in the room, and then a toilet just outside the door that only you would have access to. Worth it to get the outside terrace! All rooms were spacious and attractively decorated. The other three rooms had beautiful modern spacious en suite bathrooms. There is no ‘lobby’ or common sitting area. (We did use the rooftop terrace for that purpose, because we are all friends). There are many stairs, however the small elevator helps. The main hotel is close by, a few minutes walk up the street. Another nice feature is that you can store your bicycles for free in the hotel garage, and they can be rented at a couple of places in Popering. The location is excellent, very close to the Grote Markt. Breakfast was extra, but it was pretty good. A tad pricey but you will be so full after that you won’t need lunch! Breads, eggs, local cheeses and meats, fancy coffee machine, lox, fresh yogurt, cereals, dried fruit, jams. It’s in the main hotel. Very happy with the Recour guest house and its location. The main hotel is fancier, but this place was still very nice.

A common sitting area would be nice, but it wasn’t that big a deal.

Lovely guesthouse. Great breakfast with a view

The personal touches and the kind staff, the great atmosphere and the attention with which the property is decorated. It has a soul. The breakfast room looks out over the church tops. The owner is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Very near to the centre of the town and under 10 minutes from the station. A short walk from the hotel as advertised. Good choice offered for breakfast.

Spa is expensive extra so I did not use it.

Vriendelijk persoon en mooie kamer in het centrum

Ruim appartement in het centrum van Poperinge. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en bood ons een gratis upgrade aan aangezien er nog een luxe kamer over was. Kamer was uitgerust met een groot bed en een badkamer die voorzien was van alle nodige faciliteiten. Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug!

Douchecabine zat veel zwarte aanslag Eerste nacht geen gordijnen (na melding werd dit wel meteen opgelost)
