Comfortable and kind.

Their kindness, sadly my wife took ill (nothing to do with hotel) and had to be hospitalized so we did not in truth experience the hotel as we should have. On the positive side it means we shall have to visit again.

Just adequate but should not be classified as a hotel

The property was well located with good car parking. It was interesting. Very good breakfast.

Getting a little tired. Room cold as heating did not work too well. Lack of attention to detail. For example, heating and lighting controls need updating. Some light bulbs need replacing. Curtains off track at end. Bedding seemed a bit old. On the Friday night we were the only guests and no staff after 3pm so we had check out early. Only offered breakfast in room but room not equipped to handle this. Nowhere to sit to eat the meal. Room dark. We had to check out the day before. We were only people in the building!

Lovely old hotel in excellent location with very friendly staff.

An unusual property dating from 1700, beautifully maintained. Everything is incredibly old but in very good condition.

No shower and impractical bathroom with limited surface area for your bits and pieces. That said it was immaculate and authentic.

Good, but in summary I would say tired elegance

Breakfast was good, location and parking good

There was too much clutter and furniture for our taste, in the room we stayed in. The bathroom had split doors that couldn’t be closed from the inside and really needed a complete refresh. This was in the older part of the hotel, had I paid a bit more attention to the details, I think I would have paid the extra and booked a more modern room

Un bel endroit à Poperinge

Hotel très surprenant en Belgique et tout proche de la frontière. Chambre "romantic" super spacieuse avec baignoire bouillonnante et douche multijet. Un lit de 180 au top. Un petit déjeuner super complet. J'ai adoré l'endroit un peu surprenant toutefois en plein centre ville. L'accueil est top bien que le personnel soit aussi mobilisé par le restaurant gastronomique. L'hôtel dispose aussi d'un parking privé qui s'avère pratique quand le parking de la place est complet.

Juste peu être l'accès au petit déjeuner qui nécessite de sortir du bâtiment et avec un escalier pentu. Par contre superbe de la salle du petit déjeuner;

L'hôtel devrait être situé un peu à l'écart du centre-ville, dans un grand domaine avec jardin.

Voor herhaling vatbaar.

De locatie was voor ons ideaal. Het hotel lag op 200 meter van de grote markt. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en zeer lekker er was voor elk wat wils. De badkamer was zeer ruim met douche en bubbelbad.

Hotel agréable et original

Chaque chambre est différente, certaines sont d'un design moderne, d'autres plus vintages. Elles sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Bon petit déjeuner. Hotel situé à coté d'une place ce qui rend le parking facile.

Attention aux marches surtout la nuit car la salle de bain n'est pas au même niveau. Le chauffage de la SDB était compliqué et on a mis du temps à comprendre comment il fonctionne. Dernier service du petit dejeuner à 9h15 c'est vraiment trop tôt.
