Beautiful, modern, spotless hotel in perfect location.

OUTSTANDING hotel. Everything looked brand new and was exceptionally clean. Great location just off the Grote Markt. We had room number 7 with private terrace on second floor with a nice view. Large well appointed bath room. Ample size sleeping room. Very friendly staff. Excellent information. It’s much lovelier than the photos online. Our friends and we loved this hotel.

Newer build! Close to two key locations we wanted to visit!

3rd floor room w/out a ‘ lift’. Had to climb Stairs with luggage and a bad knee. And, very limited taxi service ….

The rooms of the guesthouse were clean and fresh. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent - clean and big. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and the outdoor space. We had a family room - which meant the kids could close the door to their 2 beds. Made it feel like a bigger room.

The real downside travelling with a family was the very bad Internet in the evening. I know - we should all be off our phones, but it is how we communicate with family back home, and the poor internet was a trial.

We liked everything about Guesthouse de la Paix. It's located in a quiet street, the rooms are beautiful, modern, clean and the bed is perfect. We feit very welcome and enjoyed the nice breakfast. We'll be back with friends!

Rude and unhelpful. Did not want to address our concerns. We left but the woman was shouting for her money. We are attempting to get a refund however they are refusing. She was very flippant about the parking but then later tried to say it had CCTV after we complained to booking.com. We didn't stay the night but moved to a hotel where the staff were polite and helpful.

Don't think about staying here if you have to carry luggage.

superb accommodation - we loved it

Beautiful accommodation - really spacious and well thought out. Although only down a side road from the main square it was very quiet. There is a secure room at the front of the property where bikes can be locked. The room to the suite was on the outside of the building and we had our own courtyard at the back which was a lovely place to sit in the heat.

Fijn verblijf.

We verbleven in het gasthouse, fijne ruime kamer op de begane grond met toegang tot het terras. Het is een zeer fijn en comfortabel hotel, en ook nog eens superschoon.

We zien er naar uit dat de verbouwing achter de rug is en het inchecken weer eenvoudiger kan verlopen.

Uitstekende locatie en prima kamer, geen opmerkingen over.

Door een verbouwing van het restaurant moest ergens ander het ontbijt genuttigd worden maar was geen enkel probleem en ook niet ver om te wandelen.

Dat wij een kamer hadden aan de inkom was een minpunt ,je hoorde iedereen binnen komen.
