Great stay

Very nice place and friendly staff. We travelled with 2 dogs and they were extremely friendly and with plenty of space for them to play, they gave us access to the enclosed area where probably keep goats or sheeps, a blessing. The rooms are very simple but clean, the beds are very soft. The restaurant is very good, breakfast amazing!!!

From the room you can hear everything in the corridor so I would suggest to bring earplugs.

A very disappointing stay.

The breakfast was a standard fare, that I would have expected to see at a European Hotel.

The fairy tale look of this imposing hotel with tubs of flowers at the door promised well as did the description on booking.com. We booked a King room with a desk, a patio ,garden views and a private bathroom. However, this room did not exist. Our room was like a waiting room, bleak and bare. There was no desk or patio. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. The advertised restaurant was not open - we were ferried to their sister hotel. We arrived at the hotel rather damp. We asked for an iron but there was no ironing board. Our stay was very disappointing.

Bedrooms hot, could not open windows due to mosquitos, bathroom in poor condition, room sparse, arrived and no staff for 20 minutes they were out somewhere - not acceptable as a hotel should be staffed at all times. Breakfast promised at 7.15 - it was late.

Absolutely fantastic for Families of 5!

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was huge and easily and comfortably fit in our little family of 5. The boys loved the views and everything about the area. The staff were outstanding and we loved our visit. Although there is not a restaurant on site, we loved that they picked us up and took us to their sister hotel 10min away for dinner. The portions were HUGE and honestly, my husband would have been fine eating a kids 'half portion'.... and the waffles... OMG they were INSANELY good!

The only thing that let the place down a little was that the shower was a bit 'mouldy'. It was clean but the sealant around the edges had blackened a bit and needed replacing.

A good stopover hotel for us.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The dining area and terrace bar were very pleasant and ambiant. The breakfast was excellent The big lift was very helpful for taking the suitcase and other stuff to the higher floors.

The bathroom was tired and needed upgrading. No evening meals available so had to drive to the next village about 3 km away.

If I will be around I will definetly stay there again. Well managed place, and a friendly staff.

I was happily surprised that the hotel was able to adjust check-in time. The owner/manager welcomed us in the morning during breakfast and mentioned that he would prepare a coffee for us. There was a vast selection of pastry, fresh fruits, and spreads.

I think it was alright for one night. I wouldn't improve anything, to be honest. We stayed just to sleep and have breakfast there. I would maybe say to guests who are staying in the hotel to go to the reception if something goes wrong. ie. We have arrive after 10 pm - after entering the room some guest came to us only in the pants saying that we are making too much noise.

Description of room and facilities not what is actually there now

The outside of the hotel is picturesque and has obviously been under renovation. The inside of the common areas has also been updated. Our bedroom had been started but not finished and the bathroom was needing attention. Our booking stated that tea making facilities would be in our room but these were not there.

At the end of a days travel all we wanted was to have a shower, eat in the restaurant and relax in our room before going to bed but the hotel had to send us by car to another hotel to eat as their chef was ill. They made the best of an unfortunate situation but it meant we needed to rush and get ready in time for our transfer as we did not want to drive ourselves any more that day. The staff however were very pleasant and helpful

Breakfast was excellent. Lovely fresh pastries, fruit, cheese and meats. Staff very helpful and the rooms were comfortable. Easily accessible from motor way and we will definitely be heading back again.

The outside of the hotel was beautiful but the rooms were very basic and it looks like they were in the middle of some room renovations.

Perfect, over the moon

We arrived at 00.15 and we knew we were late. I rang to apologize and requested to open the main door. I was happy when an employee said within15 minutes I would be at the hotel. 4 of us had a fantastic time in the hotel, clean, staff very nice, breakfast perfect, quite area, I really recommended for any one. Very close to motorway.

Beds were pretty comfortable and the bedroom was nicely warm.

The internal design and forniture were very chep, the acoustic insulation in the bedroom is inexistent. The quality of the breakfast was low.
