Perfect stay for 4 nights in Engelberg!

CCC = Central Clean Comfortable :) Friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Just a couple of small things like missing adapter for laptop EU.

We loved our stay there.

Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful, when we arrived and found out that Ski beginner areas were closed in Engelberg, they helped us call near by resorts to check the situation there. Central location, close to train station and restaurants.

A bit far from Ski lift, in case you don't have a car its a bit of a long walk with the Ski equipment.

Good affordable hotel to explore Venice.

15 minutes walk from San Lucia, 2 minute walk and 2 bridges from Marcuola water bus. Nice and less expensive restaurants near by. Nice old building with refurbished room. Clean. Good bed.very helpful and friendly staff. Easy access to water bus station Marcuola to access all of Venice.

Small 1 person shower. Need to walk with suitcases to hotel. A few bridges to cross, suggest using a porter.

Horrific !!!

My husband was ill after eating in the restaurant, that was 4 days ago and he hasn’t been right since, there were no bath plugs in whole hotel apparently due to the ‘groups’ they have stealing them, the whole hotel stank and there was urine in the lift , that’s all just for starters .. they have ignored mine and bookin.com’s messages of complaint and when I asked for a discount off my bill due to all the horrors, a flat no was given !!!!

Perfect for a short ski weekend trip. Excellent location, nice and large rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but correct, the hotel also has an excellent Indian restaurant. Price was very reasonable for Swiss standards.

Clean hotel near restaurants, bars and lift!

Great location and decent value. Rooms were nice and restaurant/bar were clean and nice. Bartender made us custom cocktails which were very good.

There was no milk in the espresso machine at breakfast and the shower was small.

Extremely rude staff, including the manager. We complained because we didn't get the 3 beds room that was advertised on booking.com and for which we paid. Instead, we got a double room with a sofa bed, which was also cheaper on booking.com. We asked to discuss with the manager. She came for a discussion, she was very rude and asked us to leave the hotel. So we didn't stay here. Instead, we went to the Schweizerhof, next to Central. Same price. The staff is very kind and helpful and the room size is what we expected in the first place.

A very pleasant stay

Nice clean room with a little balcony. It was sub zero when we were there but the room heating was very good. They even offer us free breakfast after knowing that we do not have a kettle in our room. Very good hospitality.
