Carol was so approachable, friendly and accommodating, which made the stay feel really welcoming and personal. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The location was also great for us — only around a 10-minute drive from Aberystwyth. I also liked that there aren’t too many rooms, so it feels much more relaxed and personal than a larger hotel. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including smoked salmon and bacon, and the continental selection was lovely.
The only small downside for me was that there wasn’t a traditional full English breakfast. That said, there was still a really good selection available, so it certainly didn’t spoil our stay.

Fantastic setting, ample parking, lovely surroundings, and a host
Not complaining, but I would prefer curtains over shutters, as they keep the light out better

Location was very picturesque, property has the wow factor to arrive to and that carries on inside. Hostess very friendly and pleasant with great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. Very comfortable room with a view. Breakfast catered for all tastes and even allergy to gluten was taken into consideration.
