Nice Hotel, Good Location, Wonderful Staff

We booked five rooms for 11 people and enjoyed our stay for three days. Check-in is very easy. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. We are very pleased.

Nice room, it has everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is good, it's s bit out of the center but walkable and also easy to reach by public transport from the station. Conveniently located for a walk to Gandria or the funicolare up the mountain. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great value, okay for an overnight stay, not great if you are looking for comfort.

Great value, good location - 5 mins walk to the lake and 3 mins to a bus stop.

Amenities and other facilities are on survival level - you will really just get a room with a bathroom. There aren’t even outlets by the bed. The walls are also very thin- you can hear everything happening in the hallway. The surroundings are predominantly residential buildings so you won’t find that many shops/bars.

Amazing, definitely going back

I had a wonderful stay at this place in Lugano. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large desk that was perfect for work. The internet connection was reliable and worked properly throughout my stay. The room had a pleasant aroma, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the room was great and well-maintained. The shower was excellent, providing a refreshing experience. Breakfast was delicious and fulfilling, starting my day off right. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the lake, offering beautiful views and a peaceful environment. I loved this place and would definitely recommend it!

The only inconvenience I noticed, which didn't affect me personally, is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Please consider this if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

I would totally recommned this place to enjoy Lugano and its surroundings! :)

The hotel is located within walking distance to the lake. Room was clean and spacious with a nice-sized balcony. Coffe and tea were always available (for free) at the entrance which was a nice surprise. Concerning the self-check in, everything is nicely planned in such a way that you find everything needed without having to contact the hosts. Hosts are locals so their tips were extremely useful :)

To be honest nothing really! I would totally recommend this place to explore the area around Lugano :)

Good, well priced hotel made exceptional due to helpfulness of staff.

Location was within a reasonable walk from the station. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The host kindly provided a portable air conditioner. A coffee machine that guests could use was available in the lobby. Breakfast was varied and very reasonably priced. But above all staff members were very friendly and extremely helpful. Will certainly stay there whenever in Lugano from now on.

Clean, good location, quiet area. Close to transport to the city center. There was a ceiling fan in the room. You have a migro shop close by and a nice restaurant with a nice view to the lake. Friedly staff.

Highly recommended

The comfort and cleanliness of the room were excellent, and the blackout blinds made for a perfect night's sleep. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I'll certainly be booking again!

A wonderful stay in a clean, comfortable hotel with excellent service and a perfect location.

One of the best places to stay in Lugano. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and light! The atmosphere was very cozy. Breakfast had a lot of dishes to choose from and the hosts were very polite and show real interest in their clients. Also the room was in a very good area situated making it perfect for our 2 day stay.

Nice, comfortable hotel - good value for money

It is the second time we stayed at this hotel and we loved it once again! It is simple, functional and comfortable. Large balcony. Good value for money. Nice breakfast. Super friendly hosts. About 10 minutes walk to Parco Ciani and 15 minutes to the center. Also close to a bus stop; the hotel gave us complimentary public transport tickets. Quiet, residential area.

Everything was good. For this price category, it is hard to find a better deal in Lugano.

Home away from home.

We arrived late, but self check-in was a breeze. The room is quite cozy and the size is just right. The place is quiet at night and very close to Parco Ciani and Lugano lake. I love the unique decors that are spread out in the hallway or breakfast room. The hosts, Sara and Nicolas are wonderful. It’s a home away from home.

An excellent stay

Breakfast was very good with a variety of nice bread and homemade jam and cake. There was plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt and a selection of tea and coffee. A boiled egg was also an option. The bus stop and the Lake were a short walk away, 5 minutes max. Also you could make a hot drink at any time of the day. Staff were very helpful.

Great hotel, great location, clean and big room

We loved our well planned room, it had an open wardrobe which kept the room nice and organized, we were a family of 4, and the room was big! Very clean and maintained :) We stayed there during easter and they hid chocolate eggs in different spots, my 4 years old was very excited about that

I would highly recommend this hotel! Located by the quiet lakeside, very close to bus stops (bus no. 3 or no.2). Hot tea or coffee at any time. The breakfast provides kinds of bread, yogurts, cheeses, sausage, cereals, coffee and tea. Cozy room.

Relaxed, friendly and a real gem! Pick this hotel for your Lugano stay!

I was absolutely delighted with Hotel Atlantico. The location, my balcony had a partial lake view (not expected!), the friendliness of the owners was lovely. I particularly liked the tea and coffee station in the downstairs lobby. The breakfasts were very nice and the small touches, like ability to pick up more toiletries from the hallway, the iron and ironing board in the hall, the books to read. The desk in the room was great as I was on a work trip and there was plenty of space to hang and store clothes during my 4 nights stay. This small hotel has a really friendly and relaxed vibe, in a lovely neighbourhood and feeling very safe for a woman travelling alone. There was also a direct bus to the train station and a beautiful lakeside walk to reach the old city.

Usually I always prefer to have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but since these were provided in the hallway it was almost as good for me.

wonderful hotel in all respects

The staff is most helpful and speak English. Very warm and inviting welcome. Tperiod the hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the area and free parking as a benefit! 2 point the breakfasts are fantastic and plentiful. The hotel is very simple yet very clean and quiet! We had a wonderful stay and will highly recommend.
