Lovely property in a great location.

Lovely property with lots of space and everything we needed. Great location and nice and quiet.

This didn’t bother us as we only had small bags, but I can see how getting up to the top floor with a large suitcase may be awkward as it is a very narrow stairway.

Week in Lille

The bed upstairs was comfortable, the bathroom was clean.

The apartment we were in was the more expensive apartment, which is the top floor apartment. The week in Lille was a very hot week, but the apartment was an attic room with no air conditioning, and therefore became uncomfortably hot. We ended up not sleeping in the upstairs bedroom as it was overheated. The heat also caused a lot of mosquitos to be in the apartment which we couldn't get away from, resulting in a lot of bites overnight, which caused a lot of discomfort during our holiday. There were no mosquito nets or repellents.The upstairs TV didn't work as it wouldn't connect to the Internet. The stairs are also incredibly narrow which made it hard to move our cases up and down the stairs.

It gave us just what we needed for a one night stay in central Lille.

We found the property just as described and simple, but well decorated. We were able to park outside the flat on the street and were sent a key code for easy access. The bathroom was nice and the bedroom comfortable. There was easy access to the citadel, canal and city centre, with a good bakery very close by for breakfast.

We knew the staircase would be narrow an whilst we managed them we wouldn't recommend taking up lots of bag to the flat nor it for anybody with poor mobility. The stairs to the bedroom were also very steep. The flat provided fans which we appreciated at it does get warm in the flat

Nice place with some compromises

The apartment was conveniently located and check-in was super-easy, including communication with Le Chat Qui Dort. The place was clean, we really liked the comfortable bed and appliances that were made available.

From the pictures, it wasn't clear that toilet is not separated with a door, just the curtain. I think we just assumed it would be in a closed bathroom. Some people (like us) may find it uncomfortable. Also, in the pictures you see a variety of apartments, I think we got the smallest. Which is fair, but a little disappointing.

Superb for a couple get away!

We got a perfect room on the ground floor that was perfect after a whole day of walking and having sore legs... when I came in it smelled like Nivea cream! So nice. Rituals cosmetics add on the quality but also sustainability value. We got an iron, a hair dryer, a fan, two TVs, equipped kitchenette, hangers, towels, and everything that a couple would need for a two-day getaway! The check-out time was just perfect, and when we wanted to store our bags somewhere before the check-in and after the check-out, there was no problem with that! We called a phone line, and the woman picked up directly helping us further with the storage! 😌

Only the sink was blocked which was very unfortunate. I saw some comments on the bathroom not having a door, it could be unfortunate in some cases but for us, it was really okay.

Very enjoyable. My first visit to Lille. Loved the apartment apart from it being on the 1st floor.

Good location. Liked the cobbled streets. Would have been helpful to have had information about the local bus which went to the centre and where to buy bus tickets. Would have saved money on taxis. The birthplace of Charles de Gaulle is just round the corner. Well worth a visit.

I am 5ft 1inch. The mirror in the bathroom was too high. I couldn’t reach the microwave or the upper shelves in the kitchen cupboards. I am disabled. I didnt realise that the apartment was on the 1st floor with 18 steps. I wouldnt have booked it if I had known.

We love the place!

It's sparkling clean, 2 flat screen TVs, comfortable bed & pillows, well equipped kitchen and apartment is well designed and organized for short or long stays. Very friendly staff and Gaegory is very nice and helpful! Great location, short walk to the Citadal, close to Vieu Lille, grocery stores/ bakeries/bars/restaurants are in short walking distance. We really enjoy this place during our stays!

Bien équipé pour un weekend (machine à café, bouilloire, vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine, fer à repasser, sèche cheveux). Propre et lumineux. Nombreux commerces et restaurants alentour.

Mal isolé (bruits de pas au-dessus et eau dans les canalisation qui peuvent réveiller de bon matin). La douche : pas instinctif de trouver l’eau chaude.

Prima verblijf voor een nachtje Lille

Goede en rustige locatie in het oude gedeelte van Lille. Alles is op loopafstand te vinden. Fijn appartement met lekker bed en compleet keukentje. Communicatie was top!

Het is eenvoudig opgezet. Een paar plankjes in de badkamer en bij de wastafel voor douche artikelen, wat meer haakjes in de ruimte voor het ophangen van handdoeken, badjas en dergelijke en nachtkastjes/krukjes zouden geen overbodige luxe zijn. Zeker voor dames ;) Geelbruine kalkaanslag van het toilet is je uitzicht vanaf de douche…
