The house is great, full of character and charm - including the challenging but fun staircase. The rooms are a good size, and comfortable, though you need to be a little careful of your head on the top floor. The the concierge service were very helpful - our coffee machine wasn't working and they replaced it.
There were a few things that could make a big differerence. The lighting and switches are rather hard to find, and look a little unsafe at times. The decoration is basic and a care would make it even more appealing. It would be helpful to have a holder for the handheld shower on the wall. And finally a little information about the house and local shops etc would be very welcome!

Central location in a quiet street, with easy access to the Old Town and the huge park nearby. Good communication with owners and easy check-in process. The apartment has been sympathetically renovated, with exposed beams and brickwork. Bedlinen was crisp and very nice.
This is certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, or generally anyone over 60 yrs. The stairs on each floor up to the bedrooms were extremely steep, winding and narrow. The shower/bath was very difficult to get in and out of and there was a hand shower only, with no overhead shower.
The kitchen was rather dark and dingy and there was an air of slight neglect throughout - lightbulbs not working, dying houseplant in the living room etc. The furniture was cheap-looking and didn't enhance the period feel of the property.
