Lovely short break of my daughters birthday. Beautiful house over 4 floors Very comfortable beds

Sympathetic renovation but didn't live up to its promise

Central location in a quiet street, with easy access to the Old Town and the huge park nearby. Good communication with owners and easy check-in process. The apartment has been sympathetically renovated, with exposed beams and brickwork. Bedlinen was crisp and very nice.

This is certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, or generally anyone over 60 yrs. The stairs on each floor up to the bedrooms were extremely steep, winding and narrow. The shower/bath was very difficult to get in and out of and there was a hand shower only, with no overhead shower. The kitchen was rather dark and dingy and there was an air of slight neglect throughout - lightbulbs not working, dying houseplant in the living room etc. The furniture was cheap-looking and didn't enhance the period feel of the property.

Beware of the very narrow, winding stairs! House is very old and therefore very noisy...everything creaks and you can hear every conversation and bathroom activity

A fantastic mini break in a charming house .

Lots of charm . Well equipped. Very quirky on four floors with a quaint spiral staircase. lovely high ceilings in the bedroom will tall windows . Very creaky floors !

The living room and kitchen were quite dark even in the middle of the day . There were a couple of tatty ikea pieces of furniture in the bedrooms which grated with the otherwise tasteful decor .

Un très bel endroit ... qui doit le rester

L'emplacement, le quartier calme, le salon cosy. La buanderie. Une capsule de lessive offerte (comme vous le faites pour le lave vaisselle) aurait été une attention appréciée.

Un peu trop de poussière. Une odeur nauséabonde dans une chambre le premier jour (nous n'avons pas reussi à trouver l'origine de l'odeur) qui nous a empeché de dormir dans la chambre. Le personnel a été très réactif pour faire face à notre problème. Merci. Prévoir un système de marche pied pour la baignoire. Tout monde ne dépasse pas 1m80. Bien que le logement soit de qualité, je regrette qu'il ne soit pas parfait compte tenu qu'une caution de 500 euros est demandée (sans état des lieux, ni de liste du materiel à trouver sur place). Je m'attend à une prestation parfaite lorsque je verse une caution de ce prix (environ 80% du prix de la location).Cependant, la majorité des fenêtres oscilo-battantes étaient défectueuses, certaines avaient même du mal à fermer. Les fourmis sont toujours là. Le canapé n'est pas de première jeunesse. Plein de petits signaux faibles qui ne me permettent pas de mettre une note parfaite. Cependant, l'avis global est positif.

Huis voor 4 niet veeleisende personen op goede locatie

Huis op goede locatie in centrum van Lille. Restaurants en cafés op loopafstand bereikbaar. Makkelijk te vinden. Duidelijke beschrijving en code ontvangen van de beheerders van het huis. We mochten een uur later uitchecken. Parkeergarage kostte ons voor 3 nachtjes overigens 82 euro... (er was 15 euro oid per nacht gezegd maar dat viel dus tegen!). De stad Lille is superleuk. Er stonden genoeg schoonmaakspullen en het was er warm (20 graden) in huis.

Huis kan wat meer liefde, zorg en aandacht gebruiken. We wisten dat de wenteltrap onhandig was voor kleine kinderen of oude mensen maar bovenin zat een plank los en de trap was echt onhandig. Op zich went de trap wel wel maar we hebben 's nachts licht aangelaten voor onze acht jarige want die moest 's nachts deze trap af voor de wc. Douchen kan alleen in bad maar daar stap je lastig in (echt niet doen voor oudere mensen- gevaarlijk!). Zeeppompje was denk ik lang niet gebruikt, inhoud zag er vies uit. Keuken heeft weinig glazen/kopjes dus je kunt kiezen: of een bijna lege afwasmachine aanzetten of telkens afwassen maar zonder dat er afwasmiddel of een afwasborstel aanwezig is. Er zijn 2 schuursponsjes. Afwasmachine rook muf en maakt een tik als je de deur opent. Geen vaatdoekjes aanwezig maar koelkast lekte en was helemaal nat en dat konden we dus niet schoon of droogmaken. Ook geen keukenhanddoek aanwezig. Onhandig omdat je ook beneden naar het toilet kunt gaan (waar de wc bril los zit). Flessenopener miste de punt (dus gelukkig eigen kurkentrekken mee). Stoelen zien er misschien "leuk" uit maar zitten voor 2 vijftigers echt niet lekker (misschien zijn we verwend) en nodigen niet uit om langer dan nodig te zitten. Er stond steeds bij dat we koffiecupjes kregen.. dat bleken er 3 te zijn... dus ieder 1,5 kopje koffie. Heel aardig maar de verwachting was anders na al die mails erover. Bed was prima maar huis kan echt likje verf en zorg gebruiken. Is gewoon niet echt opgeknapt. Netflix deed het niet goed want de internetverbinding was waardeloos. Voor het inchecken moet je ook een foto van je paspoort en een borg van 550 euro betalen. Dat voelt enigszins ongemakkelijk.

Super location et appartement plein de charme. Les chambres sont vraiment belles. La literie est de bonne qualité.

Cela ne m'a pas dérangé, mais il faut noter que le salon est bas de plafond et que les planchers sont très bruyants... C'est le charme des vieilles bâtisses. Géants et oreilles sensibles s'abstenir !
