Florence is a fantastic city, so much to see around every corner, full of history. The hotel is in a great location, 5 m8nutes from the train station in one direction and 5 minutes from the Duomo in the other. And no shortage of restaurants in both directions. The hotel has the original boutique feel with large windows with open door hinges and wooden floors. Just the type of accommodation we love for short stays. There were little decorative touches throughout on light fittings and in breakfast room. A really good hotel, highly recommend..
Very few negatives, the single flush button on the toilets did not work. The air-conditioning unit was very good, but it was difficult to turn on/off, if room got a little warm or a little too cool. The distressed look on the wardrobe did not look genuine and out of place.

Lovely hotel, the rooms where perfect, it was clean, tidy, the AC was good, the breakfast was very good, it was perfect location, close to train station which we wanted to reach our other Italy destinations, but quite local too the sites we booked, would defiantly use again. we had a small issue with AC leak, it was repaired the moment we reported it. A+
