Luxury accommodation in interesting city

Beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. Snug billet for our bicycles, excellent + extensive breakfast and wonderful nearby Italian restaurant for dinner.

Nice location, good breakfast, but didn't get the room we had booked

The location of the hotel was convenient to explore Tournai and a good breakfast was provided. The design of the hotel is very stylish. The room we eventually got was okay, but not what we booked.

No twin rooms were available so we booked a deluxe family room with two double beds, as we were two friends travelling. Upon check-in we were allocated a double room as "only two of you are travelling and we allocate rooms for the number of guests". This wasn't suitable and after a lot of discussion a small twin room on the ground floor was found for us.

The room is big and the hotel is very well located.

The room was not clean, the TV did not work and the dishwasher was so dirty that it smelled horribly. We told the staff about it and they just said "sorry".

Great staff and location

They were kind enough to let us check in earlier. And Olivier at the front desk and breakfast was amazing. We felt safe and we were really close to everything.

Our room was on the Main Street and the noise was very loud from the cars driving on the cobblestone. I would suggest to ask for a room not on the street.

Tiring!

The location and the breakfast

The room on the ground floor was quite dark. It was on the street side with the noise of cars on a paved street and people passing by just in front of the window. I checked late at night if there was any availability for that night and there was! Therefore, I'm wondering why putting me in what is probably the worst room of that hotel. Let me guess... because I was alone. I usually write when booking 'I'm alone but this is not a reason for giving me the worse room'. I simply forgot this time. They should spoil people who travel alone, we pay more!

Welcoming staff, great location, lovely room

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the centre of the city. We were able to park our motorcycles inside the secure gate, which was a real bonus. The room was large, light and airy. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. We were in Tournai for only one night. We will definitely be returning and would want to stay in this hotel again.

The shower screen in the bathroom leaked badly and flooded the floor. That was the only fault I could highlight.

A very nice place

The hotel is ideally located in the vicinity of the Grand Place in Tournai, in an interesting building with a historical look outside but modern inside. Two entrances on both sides of the building help you to get in :=) My room was comfortable (fantastic bed!), there was a little refrigerator in the room, nothing to complain about.

Very nice option for Tournai

Well located hotel, very nice staff. Our room was under the roof, spacious and confortable. Breakfast was good too and one can enjoy remaining pastries and fresh hot drinks during the day.

Some rotten smell coming from the roof area when opening the Velux. We kept it closed. Parking is rather limited, but the streets around offer the option to park (blue area disc or ticket)

The room was nice quiet and comfortable

The location wasn't great there is only on street parking and there was a big hoo ha about getting in the main gate after 8pm. If that had been mentioned on the website we wouldn't have booked it at all. For the facilities you got it was quite expensive. No tea and coffee machine in the room not even a bottle of water.
