Room for improvements

The studio is located close to supermarkets and the tram stop. There is a nespresso machine in the room and the water pressure of the shower is very good.

Cleanliness of the main room was not great, the bathroom was clean however. The mattress is old and concave. You can hear every detail going on in the other rooms. For this price I would have expected better quality.

Comfortable bed, sound insulated from street noise. Perfect location and friendly staff, easy check in process.

Only 1 shower towel for 5 days. No toiletries. Some noise from corridor or other rooms, but not unbearable.

Great location, lovely staff, cute room with a comfortable bed. Sofa bed was made up for my daughter so we have a 'room' each.

It was very hot and no air conditioning (it's ok as didn't expect it and a fan was provided).

Good stay...will stay again

The kitchenette was a big plus ..as I was in Geneva for 12 days...really helped with making own meals .... Nespresso machine.. microwave oven....also.... supermarkets... restaurants..pharmacy..etc...all very close...2min walk

Lugging luggage up the stairs..but they told U beforehand..so was expected..and I was only on the 2nd floor..

Quiet room with everything necessary, and well connected to the city

The property is quiet (in regards to other guests), and there's not much street noise even though there's a couple of restaurants downstairs. The little kitchen was well equipped. The fan was quiet, lucky since it was a heatwave and it had to be on all night. The staff I never actually met, but were super helpful and quick over messages. Close to public transport, river, university, shops and restaurants.

Would have been nice to have the room cleaned just once during the week.

* The building and the room were old. * The building and the room smelled cold. * The bathroom was dark. Not enough light. * The WIFI did not work properly. I could only. I could only connect to the Internet in certain sports of the room. * To get the hey, I had to pick it up in a box outside of the building, and a code was required to unlock the box. I did not receive the code by email and had to call someone from the hotel to get the box code. * No elevator in the building. * Too expensive given the reasons I mentioned above. You can find better places to stay for the same price.

Extremely bad experience.

Extremely bad experience. As mentioned in some other clients' reviews (which I should have read before booking!), this is an old building with, notably, particularly poor soundproofing. Furthermore, the building is accessible day and night without a security code and without a night guard. In the room next to mine, there was no doubt that the occupant was a prostitute (NB prostitution is legal in Geneva). From early evening until dawn, there was a parade of men speaking loudly, the sounds of locks turning, doors slamming, and, of course, the noises and moans associated with such paid encounters. Unable to leave the hotel in the middle of the night, I waited until the next day to cut my stay short. For those who might find the anecdote amusing, go ahead and book a room in this hotel. For others who value their safety and comfort, I strongly recommend thinking twice before making a reservation.

I highly recommend here for solo travelers!

I definitely recommend it for those who will stay for a short time. The hotel provided me with a free transportation card during my stay. However, if you are a person who likes to walk, you can go everywhere on foot. So, I would say the location is great. The people at the reception are friendly and very helpful. In the room you can find all the basic items you might need.

Noisy lots of birds walking on the roof all the time need more pillows as the one provided were very bad we were on the 4th floor the stair very narow and steep to carry heavy bags all the way to the 4th floor as no lift

Good, "no-frills" stay for a fair price.

The hotel was quaint and old. There was no lift, so lugging suitcases up and down the narrow stairwell was a challenge. The location was fine for me, but might not be a big draw to tourists. The bathroom was small, clean and basic. The kitchenette was a definite plus.

The lighting was poor. There was no desk or table to work at or solid chair to sit in. The bathroom was cramped and the shower stall was somewhat small.

Superb

The customer service was excellent! We booked a small studio for 2 and asked to add a bed for our 5 year old daughter., So they put an extra bed without an extra fee! Thank you for it!! The location of the property is very convenient. It is close to the Old town and to the public transport. One more surprise for us from the hotel was free tickets for all public transport for our stay. Thank you ❤️

The hotel is located in a couple of beautiful old buildings. Staff, although never seen by us, are very helpful and ready to reply at all hours. The room itself is quite well equipped: you can find all that is needed for ironing, a toaster, a nespresso-type coffee machine, etc. Location: Surprisingly the place is very quiet at night. You can find several small stores around that are open late at night. You can reach the center of Geneva in like 10 - 15 minutes by tram. The hotel kindly provided transport cards that allowed us to use public transport free of charge during our visit - including going to and from the airport. Good-smelling washing accessories.

I suppose that's what you get in Geneva for that price 🤷🏻‍♀️ That is an old place with no elevator, round staircase, small room, refurbished probably in the XX century, no air conditioning. Somehow, you grow to like it eventually. 🙂 Luck of towels: Initially, only one small towel was provided for 2 persons. Upon request, we've been provided with a set of towels, but again only one was big enough. The fan is not working.

Beautiful room in a lovely, old worldly building. A stylish oasis in a bustling area. The room was really large, with everything you would need. A heater, fan, iron, Nespresso machine. Fully equipped kitchen with an oven even. You really don't want to be using that when you're on holiday though... Great location - not far from city area, and with trams right outside the door. The sound/ light proofing is really good. I was on the second floor. Two flights of stairs. Not a problem, with light luggage. All my dealings with the staff were superb. Very helpful, kind and knowledgeable.

I was confused as to how to use the key. A user error perhaps. When I opened windows, you could often smell cigarette smoke below. I guess we can't stop people from smoking though...
