Cleaning of the room is not frequent enough- cleaning ones a day and changing towels and garbage is not enough for guests who stay for months.

We loved Geneva & visited Montreax, Yvoire, Annacy. We swam at the beach and had a fondue too!

Our apartment was lovely with a separate bedroom. The living area was large and the bathroom was nice. The portable air conditioner was wonderful! There was a tram station right outside the building and a convenience store nearby.

The sofa bed was make up when we arrived so we converted it back to a lounge however the floor was filthy underneath. Kitchen prep area was a little small and there was no milk frother for the cappuccino maker. Nobody emptied our bins even though we put the sign on our door.

The room was clean and functional and the hotel is very well located because of the awesome public busses and trams. Good breakfast in a pleasant dining room. Personnel was alert and very helpful.

The street noise. We had to upgrade the room to a small suite situated at the back of the hotel, at a cost though, since the room they offered was on the noisy street side. If one is a good sleeper it will not disturb you much unless you sleep with a window open. In the suite, one sliding door, separating the bedroom from the day room did not work. (it was out of the groove). The mirror above the sink did not work. One outlet near the window did not work. Airco for us was not necessary but might be noisy and cumbersome in summer since it is a separate big unit in the room!

We received a free upgrade on the room. The new room was on the top floor with a terrace. Nice view of sunset. Goog for a late afternoon snack. The staff was very nice. We received a ticket - pass to use the public transportations before arriving - awesome!! Breakfast was not superb, but more than enough.

Nice place to stay in Geneva!

Clean room and good location just front of the trum station. Breakfast is decent and good restaurants are nearby. It is my bavorit hotel to visit our customer in Univ. Geneva.

There is a staircase to reach the elevator. With heavy luggage such as tools and files for a business trip, it is a bit inconvenient.

Good but needs improvements.

centrally located. property staff were great, clean property, nice bed. it had all the basic things. overall comfortable room.

I made the reservation about 9-10 months before. for some reason the changes made to my reservation via booking.com during the time of reservation and a few months ago didn’t reach the hotel at all. I had cancelled a room and a family’s booking, but it was still showing in their system. so check-in process became a little lengthy as we had lots to explain and show. I am vegan and requested vegan dietary for the breakfast buffet. which was plant based milk and any nut butter like peanut butter. I had no response from the hotel for long (it could be because they were not getting updates about the booking) and later during the check in the hotel confirms that they can fulfil the requests but there wasn’t any arrangements on the breakfast. the manager mentioned it will be available for the next day but even on the next day but it wasn’t. lastly, the hob in the room was not working. I had to chase few times to get the fixed. they replaced it but it was on the day.

Great access to transport

Ideally located right in front of the tram stop (free local travel with the pass provided by the accommodation). Great to have the kitchenette for self catering. Had enough utensils to create simple meals. Supermarkets close by. Modern, quiet rooms. We were happy with our room.

Facilities list stated there was a washing machine but there was none, so this was misleading (we travel for a long time so this was important to us). Hotel can arrange a pick up linen service, which I imagine would be very expensive. There was a laundromat close by which we used.

Very accommodating reception personnel made for a great stay!

Fabulous fully automatic espresso machine in the breakfast room, as well as a surprising variety of food! So easy to arrive by train, and the hotel provides free public transportation card to tourists. The tram stop is in front of the hotel.

Very good

Well situated infront of the tram stop. Supermarket nearby and good variety of restaurants, shops to wash clothes. A nice green park with benches to relax. Personnel was very nice and eager to make the stay pleasant. I could leave my luggage at the reception the following day. Spacious and clean studio, one of the cleanest beds I have seen and comfortable.

The staff at Starling Hotel went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The room exceeded our expectations - one of the best out of the 9 hotels visited on this trip!. We loved having a self-catering element while still benefitting from the travel card hotel perk.

The only improvement would be the air-conditioning, which was a bit too noisy. At night, we preferred to open the windows as traffic noise was less than air-conditioning noise.

The residence was spacious,had eveything needed, was very clean. To have our own small kitchen and refrigerator was a big plus!

Breakfast choices need expanding. If the hotel charges 15CH per person, it definitely needs more than 1 tomato cut in thin slices as vegetable choices...

The hotel is really good, very clean, everything worked just fine, personnel is friendly.

The only thing which is frustrating is a breakfast. It was one of the worst I have ever had: everything cook yourself, cheese in bricks, poor choice, there was machine for pancakes which didn't work and there were no signs about that, so everyone clicked on the button and were waiting.

Overall great stay but a lot could still be improve

1. Great location, literally in front of tram station. 2. Spacious room 3. Complete items in the kitchenette, very convenient if you like to cook

Very well located and comfortable

The hotel is LITERALLY in front of the tram station, it is amazing. The room / apartment is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The thing we regret is only staying there for one night. Totally recommend!

The tram runs in the street of the hotel which is practical but noisy early morning and late evening. There is a weird smell coming from the bathroom.
