Lovely place, charming pool area, very helpful staff.

The breakfast could be better (bigger) :) but overall everything was great.

Location is good. Very friendly personal. Garden and pool beautiful. Bathroom ok. Parking ok.

Very dirty apartment. There was a dog in our apartment before us,the smell on sofa in living room was so strong. Pillows on sofa were full of hairs from dog,they were not cleaned,just turned over. Uncomfortable chairs. Wi fi not so strong,most of the time we used our internet. Red pillows in sleeping room were dirty,full of white spots. Only one sheet for covering when you go to sleep,nothing else.( usually is a spare in closet but not here). We asked for clean towel but we didnt get them. The house have a great potential but it must be renovated.

Air-conditioned bedrooms would have been nice. But it was comfortable.

Our host Arianna and other stuff members made us feel very welcome. Tall trees on the property cast long shadows that were very much needed in July's hot weather. Our apartments were spacious and very clean. Air-condition worked as it should and made our stay very comfortable.

It was a beautiful place and nice that there was a restaurant next to the accommodation. The breakfast was also good (typical Italian), but we missed something salty like bread, cheese or eggs.

Other toiler smelled really bad and if you left the door open the whole bedroom smelled like that.

We love how spacious the apartment is. It is a very clean property with a beautiful pool. Nice outdoor common area with a bbq. Arianna from the property was extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

We unfortunately had an incident where the apartment was broken into while we were away during the day. As we had most of our precious belongings with us, only some money was taken. We wish there had been a safe to avoid anything being stolen from us.

The apartments were close to each other. The ambiance is soothing. The staff is more than friendly and helpful. They recommended us a restaurant for dinner in Chiusi and even made a table reservation for us.

The road leading to the accommodation is in poor condition. Breakfast is typically Italian. You need to indicate on the list of paper what you want for breakfast the next day, but the selection is limited to a few items (croissants, juice, pastries, yogurt and coffee). Breakfast is then brought to your room, but only after 8 a.m., which means you can’t start exploring Tuscany before that. The location is secluded, so there is nothing to do with the surrounding area. There is nothing to do in your free time in the accommodation. Caution is required due to the large wildlife (deer, wild boar) as it can lead to an awkward encounter with your car.

Borgo Dolciano is a tiny hamlet consisting of a handful of buildings (divided into of several apartments) set around a few courtyards. Nothing fancy, just delightful. Set on a dirt road, just off a primary road, it’s easy to find and convenient to Chiusi and all the beautiful towns in the area. I had a blissful country walk up the road beyond the property. Farther up the road, there seems to be a network of roads/paths to Lago di Chiusi and other destinations. In the evening, the hosts set little bonfires in each outdoor area, and the Christmas lights were twinkling—it was a lovely atmosphere. I did not try the restaurant, but it looks charming, and I’d like to come back and try it some time. Most folks would see it as white noise as I did, but— If you’re especially sensitive to sounds—the only caution I’d give you is that you frequently hear trains whizzing by on the nearby train line. It’s not intrusive, but it’s there. The interior? I was in Apt. #1. Again, not fancy, but well done, with many special touches like beautifully whitewashed wooden doors, solid wooden windows with shutters, a fireplace, a sparkling clean large bathroom, and large bedrooms with high ceilings and large comfortable beds/bedding. The living area might be a little tight for 4+ people, but it was easy for me as a solo traveler. Adequately equipped kitchen. Once I found the various kitchen amenities in different drawers/corners of the room, I was set to make a nice dinner. Heating system is split units, not radiators, if you care. I wasn’t able to connect to the Wifi using the codes written on the useful info sheet provided. But I didn’t feel like asking for help, and was able to connect to the non-password protected network, which was adequate, if not perfect. Reception was very kind and friendly (and spoke English). In any case, I highly recommend this special place.d

I like to cook when I travel, so I cooked dinner at the apt. To be very picky, the kitchen could have been a bit easier to navigate --the equipment was stored all over the living area, in different drawers. And it was functional, but the bare minimum. The light bulbs in the living room could have been brighter.

We rented 2 apartments. The first one with two bedrooms/2 bathrooms was great. The facilities inside the room and the beds and items inside were very good. You could see it was newer than the rest of the apartments.

The second one we rented (the bilocale) for 2 people was not nice at all. I wouldn’t even call it rustic, it looked poor and old. The windows had old curtains that wouldn’t cover the sun, the facilities were very run down, the bathroom smelled bad and the toilet moved, we ran out of hot water. I could stay again but only if we rent the apartment with 2 bedrooms. The one bedroom one I do not recommend at all.

Nice apartment in borgo on top of a hill. Everything is very convenient. Great pool. We really enjoyed. Recommended!

ha degli spazzi molto belli. è il classico borghetto immerso nel verde e nel silenzio. siamo stati una notte e ci siamo trovati molto bene: la struttura dispone di piscina (un po’ fredda per quel periodo ma okay) e di un ristorante interno. sono stati molto disponibili e ci hanno permesso di noleggiare anche il barbecue per poterlo fare
