Highly recommend this place in the middle of Tuscany with its views tastes and hospitality.

Our hosts were amazing even before we got there. Communication was easy and they were always super helpful. They have itineraries for places to see around the area. We so enjoyed discovering some beautiful off the beaten track places. The hosts have created a most welcoming place for individuals, couples or families. We also felt like we were part of the family. All the while with great respect to our privacy. The views are stunning. The food was out of this world. We had freshly baked goods every morning and took advantage of ordering a home made Tuscan meal one evening. Highly recommend! No hesitation to recommend this place. I have told some friends already. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

A Perfect Stay in Nature

Everything was smooth and amazing at Podere Grotta Antica — we absolutely loved the place. The room was beautiful, and the nature all around made the stay feel peaceful and special. The people were incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful with us throughout our visit. We would definitely love to come back another time and truly recommend it!

Exceptional place to stay in Chiusi! Highly recommend!

The breakfast was spectacular! The food was delicious and the presentation was absolutely gorgeous. The dining room was comfortable yet elegant. Sonia kept our coffee flowing and was very responsive to any requests we had as her guests. We could not take e-bikes to the winery our first afternoon so our host drove us there. He also drove us to a restaurant that they recommended in Chiusi. The Alessios were exceptional hosts!! I can highly recommend Podere Grotta Antica to anyone!

Wonderful experience

We loved absolutely everything about this place 💕 you can see and feel that Sonia and Alessio poured their hearts into it. They are very kind souls and their hospitality really made a difference. Sonia prepared delicious breakfasts (it's possible to ask for eggs), she bakes her own bread and cakes (we miss your hazelnut cake!). Alessio provided us with some great recommendations food-wise and also shared a route around Val d'Orcia. (We would have missed Monticchiello if it wasn't for you!) Also it was easy to communicate in English. I loved the style of the renovated property, it felt very cozy with good vibes. It was aesthetically pleasing 😊 Beautiful lighting in the evening outside. Also the whole place was super clean. The house is on a hill so we had magical views from the windows. The location is very good, just a few minutes drive to Chiusi to grab dinner and close to breathtaking Val d'Orcia. There is nothing I would change. Thank you guys for creating this place and wonderful memories!

Unique Tuscan experience with superb hosts

We had a superb and unforgettable stay during the whole week. Sonia and Alessio (and Kevin!) treated us in a perfect way. They made great recommendations for visits, served delicious homemade local food (breakfast and dinner), and most importantly: they made our family feel welcome from the first minute, and were incredibly attentive and helpful. The location is stunning, staying in a charming and super clean guesthouse, with perfect views on the Tuscan hills. The location is also ideal for trips to medieval towns. Options for charging EV are available on site and nearby. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and we left with gratitude and sweet memories. Warmly recommended!

Great hosts run this property that looks old but has benefits of new construction

Wonderful breakfast each morning is included, the room was a good size, the views over Tuscany were exceptional, and the host and staff were friendly and helpful, including making dinner reservations for us. We loved the remoteness, but you should know that most services are at least 10 minutes in Chiusi, a sleepy Tuscan hill town. Again, we loved it, but be prepared.

Bed wasn’t comfortable for me, but my wife thought it was fine.

La posizione ottima, vicino a Chiusi e alle terme di Chianciano. La colazione meravigliosa, con le torte buonissime preparate da Sonia, yogurt casalingo buonissimo e marmellate e succhi buonissimi e originali negli ingredienti…tutto servito in una sala da colazione bellissima!

Posto incantevole immerso nella natura e con una vista meravigliosa in un ambiente familiare

Colazione eccezionale mentre si gode di una incantevole vista dalle vetrate della sala colazione. Torte e biscotti fatti in casa da Sonia di diverse tipologie per soddisfare ogni gusto che sembrano appena sfornati da una pasticceria. Ottime marmellate che abbiamo gustato con il pane alla curcuma con semi di lino. Cappuccino di Alessio veramente buono. Sonia, Alessio e Kevin sono stati molto accoglienti, simpatici e piacevoli. Abbiamo avuto l'onore di condividere una cena insieme a loro ed è stato bellissimo, come se li conoscessimo da sempre. Alessio ha creato sul sito dell'agriturismo dei percorsi che si possono fare con le indicazioni per visitare i luoghi meravigliosi che ci sono nei dintorni. Grazie ancora per quei 2 giorni meravigliosi. A prestissimo

Un soggiorno da favola

Tutto sopra le mie aspettative. Abbiamo cominciato questo soggiorno con un'accoglienza molto bella da parte del titolare; stanza perfetta, con letto e cuscini comodissimi, la possibilità di fare un tè caldo e con una grande armonia cromatica nei tessuti, complementi d'arredo e tutti gli oggetti presenti. Tanta attenzione da parte della Signora del Podere per ogni dettaglio; niente lasciato al caso, colazione preparata da lei con prodotti tipici locali, succhi, torte e biscotti appena sfornati, tutto di una bontà unica. Ampio parcheggio nel cortile della struttura.

Liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft und Service

Das Zimmer war in einem top Zustand und sauber. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick. Das Geländer drum herum ist sehr groß und gepflegt und lädt ein, noch einige Zeit im Freien zu verweilen. Die Gastgeber waren super nett und stellten uns auf Anfrage ein Bügeleisen bereit. Auch Restaurantempfehlungen teilten sie uns mit und übernahmen die Reservierung. Die Gastgeberin servierte ein Frühstück mit sehr viel Liebe und 5 selbst gemachten Kuchen und Keksen. Das Auto steht sicher auf einem kostenfreien Stellplatz, der sich im eingezäunten Grundstück befindet.

Weekend da sogno

Da dove iniziare? I proprietari Alessio Sonia e il piccolo Kevin sono delle persone squisite gentilissimi e super disponibili. La location è bellissima, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, la nostra stanza "Giardiniere" ha una vista meravigliosa. Noi siamo arrivati per il tramonto che ha reso tutto ancora più magico. Abbiamo anche cenato da loro e Sonia ha preparato per noi antipasto toscano e pici al ragù, inutile dire tutto ottimo! La mattina seguente abbiamo fatto colazione nel verde sconfinato con torte, yogurt ecc tutto fatto in casa. Inoltre ci hanno dato la possibilità di organizzare una meravigliosa uscita a cavallo con un maneggio vicinissimo alla struttra. Insomma tutto perfetto!!

Un paradiso in mezzo alla Toscana

Posto meraviglioso e immacolato. C'è pace, silenzio e il relax é assicurato. I proprietari sono molto solari, gentili e disponibili. Servizi ottimi e completi, colazione con prodotti locali e fatti da loro, una coccola vera. Ci é piaciuto ogni aspetto del soggiorno. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornare.

Petit bijou à tester pour une expérience toscane authentique

Le logement, bien que petit, est récent, dans une excellente condition et joliment décoré. Le couple d'hôtes est absolument charmant et très serviable. Le petit-déjeuner, composé de patisseries préparées par Sonia (l'hôtesse) et d'ingrédients venant des petits producteurs aux alentours, est délicieux. Idéalement situé, proche de Montepulciano, Pienza, le Val d'Orcia, et Perugia. Mentions spéciales pour le bon sèche-cheveux avec diffuseur apprécié par ma partenaire aux cheveux bouclés, les toilettes japonaises et Ciop le chat.

Aucun problème, mais quelques points à noter : la période du check-in est très brève (nous avons tout de même pu arriver plus tard), il n'y a pas de piscine (pour l'instant) dans la propriété, il n'y a pas de restaurant dans la propriété, le diner n'est donc pas garanti.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet endroit; l'hôtesse est absolument charmante. Le petit déjeuner était excellent,et nous avons pu le prendre sous la pergolas,face au paysage toscan. Le chemin d'accès est rural! L'endroit est très sécurisé. Décoré avec goût,avec "amour" sent-on!Attention,escalier pour accéder aux chambres.

La struttura è semplicemente magica. È un piccolo gioiello nelle colline toscane. La camera è esattamente come si vede nelle foto, dotata di ogni comfort. Stanze pulite, vista meravigliosa, c’è una pace e una tranquillità incredibile. Colazione eccezionale. Sia dolce che salata, tutto fatto in casa e organico. I proprietari sono super gentili e affabili. Abbiamo visto una cortesia e un attenzione per gli ospiti pazzesca. Grandissima attenzione ai dettagli; dal The in camera con il bollitore, al Frigor con l’acqua fresca al phone con il diffusore per i capelli ricci.
