Nothing to dislike

It is Venice, San Marco, so you can't expect much. Neither value for money. It is full of historical buildings with No elevators. So the room is on the 3rd floor of such a building, no elevator. Amazing location 5 minutes from the San Marco by foot. Room is big enough, Venetian style furniture quite ran down. Old wooden floor needs a new lining. Great bathroom with good enough shower pressure. Even though the room is quite ran down a needs refurbishing the bed are great actually, a bit on the hard side, which is to my personal liking. Very clean - credit to the staff here, really very clean. And very good prices in the minibar. Old but very well functioning A/C unit

Pricing, I know it is Venice, but the " value for money " phrase here really loses its meaning. Somewhat dysfunctional furniture

The location and staff were very good. The room was clean and the AC excellant.

The 65 step climb to our room 106 was demanding. The description "Hotel" is misleading . The price we paid 1,340 + for 4 nights is excessive even for the location. This price does not stand up for comparison to proper hotels in the area on our dates 28th May - 1st June The finish of the room in places is shoddy e.g. the skirtings We were dissappointed with the expected hotel experience being a glorified B & B saved from a worse review by the very nice staff.
