Beautiful hotel the cleaners were amazing did such a good job at cleaning, the staff were so lovely and friendly particular the Phillipino waiter and a few others Ideal location

The spa lady who was not qualified to do massage was very pressuring into booking spa treatments, saw her everyday and everyday she would pressure me to book a spa treatment, I’m not there to be pressured I’m there to have a relaxing holiday. In addition she was going round giving free massage at the pool but later told me she not qualified to do massage , I would urge caution as the hotel could be sued if she causes damage We also witnessed a Phillipino waiter believe his name was armando being shouted at by the senior waiter I thought this was disgusting and evidence of bullying which caused me much distress

We had a suite with a private swimming pool and terrace, it was a gorgeous space. The staff were friendly and the resort was beautiful. The food was fresh and delicious.

The only thing that didn’t suit us was the outdoor gym and the restrictions around usage. An indoor gym with aircon and the ability to access before 9am would have been better, we usually go to the gym most days but it was hard to have a gym session after breakfast but before it got hot

The staff is 5 star resort, 100%, the grounds are well cared for but the accommodation itself is not.

We had a room with a jacuzzi and when we arrived we couldn’t use it because it was still filling and warming up and less than 25degrees. This took more than a day. (The room was free the days before we arrived so they should have started earlier). During our stay apparently there was something wrong and they needed to redo the jacuzzi again (no communication) but from the 10 days we couldn’t use it 3 days. The pool also was out of order, which can happen but that was also 2 days. When we arrived there was a big beehive in the lounge bed outside, which makes it clear nobody cleaned it. The floor outside was also really dirty. There was not just a bit of sand but real mud. It had rained really bad 3 days before our arrival but clearly nobody thought of cleaning the outside floor. furthermore are the doors and ceilings so low, if you’re 180cm and up you will hit your head against ceilings and lamps constantly. Also the equipment in the room is broken or of really cheap quality. Like the water heater, when it’s hot you can’t touch it. I mean the handle. So you can’t poor a cup or tea. You need at least 2 towels to hold it. There is an ironing device but it’s leaking so bad and it’s leaking rust. The elevator of the resort wasn’t working and also not getting fixed. We had booked sea view but had no sea view. We booked a baby crib but when we arrived it wasn’t there. So we had a baby but we had a room only accessible via stairs, a pain in the ash. Also the electricity went out for about 3 hours. Which can also happen but it was a lot for this amount of money.
