So far, my stay has been mixed. The hotel has some positive aspects, but based on my experience up to now, I would not personally rate it as a typical 4-star hotel.I booked a superior room, but in hindsight, a standard room might have been a better choice. It was not clear during the booking process that the standard rooms include a balcony or terrace, while the superior rooms do not. The description mainly mentions that the superior room is larger, but I have not found it to be particularly spacious. As a boutique hotel, it has a pleasant and intimate atmosphere, but overall it feels more like a standard hotel than a premium 4-star property. The superior room is advertised as suitable for up to three guests, although I struggle to see how that would be comfortable. As a solo traveller, I find the room manageable, but with luggage the space already feels quite limited. One thing future guests should be aware of is the room layout. The shower has no door, the sink is located within the bedroom area, and the toilet is separated by a glass door. While this may work well for couples, it offers limited privacy for friends or other travelling companions. The staff have been friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. However, I found the check-in process unnecessarily complicated after a long journey. After more than four hours of flying, I was asked to complete a self-check-in process on an iPad and enter all my details myself. The receptionist was very pleasant and professional, but personally I would have preferred a simpler process where my passport was checked and I was handed my room key without having to complete additional administrative steps. The room has been clean and well maintained so far. The bed is comfortable, although I find the mattress slightly too firm and the pillows a little too springy for my personal preference. Housekeeping is provided every other day, which is less frequent than I would expect from a hotel that advertises itself as a 4-star property. The swimming pools are pleasant and well maintained, but guests should note that they are relatively shallow. This may be ideal for relaxation and less confident swimmers, but those looking for a deeper pool for swimming or diving may find them disappointing. One area that could be improved is the communication regarding local taxes. I booked through Agoda and paid the full amount in advance. My confirmation appeared to indicate that all charges and taxes were included, but on arrival I was asked to pay an additional €60 (€10 per night). Fortunately, this was not an issue for me, but it could be inconvenient for guests who arrive expecting everything to have already been paid.Overall, the hotel has some appealing features, particularly the kindness of the staff, its boutique character, and its relaxed atmosphere. However, the room size, layout, housekeeping schedule, check-in process, and lack of clarity regarding additional charges mean that, based on my experience so far, I am not convinced I would choose to stay here again.
