The countryside is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast had an excellent array of foods and was delicious. We also had a great dinner. The restaurant server was attentive - she even remembered hot water for my husband the second morning. Margherita from the desk was very helpful, and they lent us an umbrella for a rainy day.
We booked it specifically because it had a restaurant, however were informed upon arrival (after a long travel day) that the restaurant was closed that day. The staff member said she would give us a list of restaurants in the area for dinner that night, and then never brought it back to the room. It would have been helpful to know about this in the initial message from the property. The light over the closet area has a timer that lasts about 4 seconds so it turns off and on constantly when you move about the room and turns off before you can find anything in your suitcase. Frustrating. In general it felt a little like glamping versus staying at a winery. Clean, but the rooms are very simple and not as comfortable as expected for the price.
