Fantastic apartment and the location is great but what makes this stay stand out is the fantastic staff the customer service you receive is exceptional nothing is too much trouble from the minute you check in they make you feel like a priority , we were offered an upgrade and customer care is something these guys could teach to a lot of other hotels thank you all so much for a 5 star stay

END OF MAY BH WEEKEND AWAY- THE LAKES 2023

The hosts were lovely & very helpful, spotless & clean, good decor. Restaurant & Bar area nice & modern. Breakfast was lovely, we had an evening meal 1 night, lovely traditional food, plenty of choice reasonably priced! Not far from Coniston, Windermere & Ambleside. Don't forget to go to the Beach, miles of sand, and it wasn't busy at all, especially being a BH weekend end of May! Head towards Walney Nature reserve over the bridge on to the island separated from mainland. A drive towards Roa Island along the coast is worth a trip, and don't forget the best ice cream, 2 fishermen told us about along our walk on the beach 'Tony's Ice cream' 30 flavours. A few miles along the coast past Roa Island, you can't miss it on the right by the beach, Bosun's Locker on Roa Island where the road finishes isn't much to look at, but the food was amazing & not very expensive for brunch & a coffee, before heading off along the coast for dessert Yum! :-) Glorius sunshine for 3 days magic :-) 1st visit after 15 years to Coniston, Windermere, Ambleside & William Wordsworth's House & Gardens CA13 9RX, FREE with National Trust Membership worth a visit guided Tour, best to book online if not a member! ENJOY :-)

Staff were lovely and so helpful, can’t emphasise it enough. There was always someone on hand to help if needed.

On the first morning, there was an issue with the hot water but staff were quick to inform and managed to get it sorted even with it being Easter.

Could do with a full length mirror. External doors to the breakfast area were locked when I tried to pick up a bagged breakfast. Was quite surprised to find my apartment had been cleaned mid way through my stay, would have been nice to know that was happening.

Cost efficient, clean and friendly

This was just a quick flying visit to catch up with family. Hotel is conveniently located in town centre and there's parking available. Efficient friendly staff on arrival and the check in procedure was quick and seamless.

Room was exactly as advertised and my only small criticism would be that the mattress was a bit on the thin side which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable.

Nothing really bad but most of it just about adequate.

The room was clean and tidy. The location was handy for BAE

Only on road parking with restricted hours. Drains in the rooms had macerators fitted which were really noisy, especially as people were using toilets etc throughout the night. Also the shower tray filled to overflowing before the macerator kicked in meaning restricted shower time. The windows didn't shut correctly so a lot of road noise. Breakfast was small portions, limited and all moisture cooked from food.

Room was up few flights of stairs. Out side could have few hanging baskets to make it more appealing.

Very friendly staff with a walk welcome, nice bar and decent food/ breakfast (been here a couple of times for food while staying elsewhere so that says it really). Comfortable room in general.

The staff from the hotel bar to the hotel staff were amazing, friendly and available at all times, i would recommend this hotel, i stayed in an apartment and it was first class, my next stay to Barrow will be there.
